These are no success neither by survivability which is days nor by interfacing the transplant head with the receiving body's nervous system. The whole purpose of this procedure is to restore some motion ability to a patient who is almost completely paralyzed. If you look at the outcome of the very few experiments done on animals, the outcome for the patient is going to be very grim. He is not going to regain motoric function and he will die probably within days to several weeks if he survives the operation. I don't think there will be any half decent medical institution that will actually agree to host this unethical experiment.
