According to the LA Times, Chris Harper Mercer, the Oregon killer, was a "White Supremacist".

One slight problem. Mercer identified as multi-racial. His mother was black. He doesn't seem to have even known his father. He identified with black TV killer Vester Lee Flanagan.

This doesn't seem to have stopped the media with George Zimmerman who was labeled a white Hispanic, so maybe Chris Harper Mercer was a white Black? Was he a Half-White Supremacist?

I'm not an expert on "White Supremacism", but being half-black and then shooting a bunch of white Christians would make him the worst White Supremacist ever. If being half-white and hating white Christians makes you a White Supremacist... then Obama should be investigated for being a White Supremacist.

So far we've got media accounts of him being into paganism, the IRA and an anti-Christian "conservative Republican". His mother claimed that he was mentally ill. That last one is probably the most relevant of the bunch.

Now it's not impossible for a half-black man to be into Nazi gear and IRA posters and just about anything he likes. There were plenty of black soldiers fighting for Hitler. But it's disingenuous to pretend that he's the poster boy for a movement whose members wouldn't have him.

Right now there's no coherent identity here. And that's normal for crazy people. And it's either that or Mercer was one of the half-white Neo-Nazi IRA anti-Christian Republican killers. And you know how big of a problem they are.

In the case of "White Hispanic", Hispanic is not a race so if you believe in the existence of "Hispanics", a white person from Latin American would be a "White Hispanic". A "Hispanic" could be half white and half black and so could a Non "Hispanic".

The people he shot are truly blessed in one way to have the honor that comes with martyrdom but I'm sure that God had other plans and a destiny for their lives to bless other people that this monstrous person stole from them. I think everyone should think about whether or not you're willing to stand with God even if it means dying and be ready to do so as much as you can be beforehand. It's better to die than to deny Jesus if you're a Christian.
