Sweden imposes temporary border controls in response to refugee crisis

Sweden is going to impose temporary border controls in order to cope with the unending stream of refugees, the country’s Interior Minister Anders Ygeman said.

"The overall assessment when we collect information from the police, the Civil Contingencies Agency and the Migration Agency is that it is warranted to impose temporary border controls," Ygeman said at a news conference called by the government.
