Ted Might be AG

Ted might be Attorney General.
I guess he's no longer "Lyin Ted".

This would be the ultimate 'screw you' to Obama.

Basically picking the opposite of Lynch.  A true constitutionalist instead of a communist activist.

I'm not going to put a lot of faith into it, but it would be a great move.

I just read it was complete speculation... so I am wondering if its just wishful thinking.

The article said Cruz was seen leaving Trump Tower.  So he's being considered for something.  He would be a way better AG that Loretty Lynch and Eric Holder.

Shlomo,  if given the choice,  would you prefer Ted Cruz to accept the AG job if offered or remain in the U.S. Senate?

As much good as Cruz can do as AG,  he's w/o question the most valuable current Senator.

Despite the fact that Ted Cruz should be President, it might very well be that he would be
most effective in the Senate for now. Any position, however, Attorney General, Supreme
Court Justice, Governor, etc. he would handle with the highest level of competence in his
 constitutional conservative manner!

I am not sure it is good because AG is often a one term stint or even less. It may be better for him to remain a senator.  A nomination to the supreme court is another good option unless he is determined to run again for POTUS.

Another issue is that in the US the AG is sort of like consigliere  of the president rather than an independent officer of the law. I don't think Ted should act as a buffer shield for Trump from whatever legal backlash of whatever dirty business the Trump Whitehouse is going to get itself involved in.
