Yeah, Miljenko Matijevic had (and still has) over a 4 octave range, but its not a squeaky feeble voice, it's very powerful voice which is an incredibly rare combination.   He was semi-popular in the U.S. in the late 80's with a band called Steelheart, but became hugely successful in Korea for some reason.   So 30 years later, there are kPop stars still trying to sing like him... but they sound weak.. not even remotely close.

I went to a concert by Zvjezdan Vojvodić, a young Croatian pianist. He played Papandopulo, Chopin, Scriabin, Liszt, Franck, Tchaikovsky and Gershwin. That is an incredible repertoire for a young musician or any musician. Check him out: https://youtu.be/ZtwTydS7oOs

The winner was Riva, a pop rock band from Zadar, Croatia. Their singer was Emilija Kokić, a Croatian singer.
