9 Reasons to Learn Croatian

Regarding her reason number 6, when I learned Russian it was incredibly hard to learn the Cyrillic alphabet. I can read Cyrillic, but it never seems natural.
Gentiles are obligated to fulfill the Seven Noahide Commandments because they are the eternal command of God, transmitted through Moses our teacher in the Torah. The main and best book on details of Noahide observance is "The Divine Code" by Rabbi Moshe Weiner.

I use both Cyrillic and Latin. I like Russian because they use Cyrillic everywhere. Name of every restaurant in Russia is written with Cyrillic.

How about the Glagolitic script: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glagolitic_script

Seeing "McDonald's" in Cyrillic is a unique experience! Is the name of every restaurant in Serbia written with Cyrillic, too?

Few people in Croatia learn Russian. When I entered a language school, there was a small group of students. We learned Russian every Saturday for hours beginning at 8 a.m. Everyone was sleepy, but it was the most entertaining language course I ever took.

I heard about the Glagolitic script, but until now I never saw any letters.

Restaurants in Serbia have their original Latin names like McDonald's and Starbucks. Maybe some of the local restaurants have their names written with Cyrillic.

How long have you learned Russian?

I can't read Glagolitic. However, I think I learned about it in elementary school.

I learned Russian for 3 semesters. I wanted to read Russian literature in the original language. In the first semester we focused on mastering the Cyrillic alphabet using simple texts. In the second and third we focused on Russian grammar.

I love the fact that Russian lost the aorist, imperfect, and plusquamperfect forms. These forms do not exist in modern Croatian, but Croatian grammars still describe them.

The most popular foreign languages in Croatia are English, German and Italian. I prefer Russian to German, but I don't think it will become popular. I love Slavic languages. It is amazing to me that Slavic speakers can hear a different Slavic language and understand it, like when you and I communicate in private.

Which foreign languages are the most popular in Serbia? I suppose Russian is more popular in Serbia than in Croatia.

German is the most popular language in Serbia. People study it because they want to live and work in Germany or Austria. I think Spanish and Italian are popular as well. Russian could be popular among people who love Russia. I'm not sure how many are learning it. I never considered learning Russian. Most of the words I know are from internet.

Really? It surprises me that German is more popular than English.

Yes, many Serbs and Croats dream of living and working in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. I wonder if they will reconsider their plan considering how many Muslims moved to those lands.

I'm not quite sure if its more popular than English. I seriously doubt that people from Balkans and other parts of Europe care about Muslims in Germany. Reason number one for moving to these countries is better life and making more money.

They might begin to care if the Muslims terrorize them. To live in a society with many Muslims is not better at all.

I agree, most people don't want to live in Muslim neighbourhoods.
