Looks like Trump vs Biden, and. if this coronavirus thing doesn't blow over soon, it does not look good. The virus has already had enormous economic impact. It is a strange reaction, if you compare it to the number of infections and deaths caused by the flu virus every year.

The people totally overrate the dangers of Corona. It is like this with all new illnesses.

Our body is made to withstand illnesses.

There are only a few virus infections, that are untreated really dangerous. And to get infected is not easy.

Either you have to be bitten by an infected animal, or you have to do sexcrimes or you have to eat weird stuff, like ape meat from the dschungle.

Every virus that spreads by droplet or air is usually not dangerous for healthy people.

Your comment makes no sense.  Some viruses like Ebola kill over 80% of people who contract it.  They (Scientists) finally developed therapeutics and a vaccine against it, and now they are celebrating no new cases of Ebola in Africa.  The body cannot withstand Ebola without those treatments, unless blessed to be 20% of people with a milder case.

There is no overrating of anything here.  There were over 80,000 cases of coronavirus in China with no available treatments and no pre-existing immunity in the population.  Too many people died.   Human life is sacred.

It is extremely easy to get infected.  That is why as of yesterday, 20% of residents at Kirkland life care center in Seattle (where a coronavirus outbreak occurred) have died.  20%!   And 40% of the staff are experiencing the symptoms and likely contracted it.  Many healthcare providers on the front lines in China contracted it from patients, and some died.  Right now in Italy, hospitals are being overrun with too many patients needing ICU and not enough beds or space.  And healthcare providers are catching the virus from the patients.

As for untreated, it's a novel virus, so there is no treatment yet.

It passes from human to human, so it is easy to get infected.

I don't know wtf you are talking about?  What you describe is only the case to catch an animal virus via zoonotic transmission into a human.  Once a virus has already ended up in a human and is capable of human to human transmission (as is the case of this covid19), it is easily spread the same way a common cold or the flu is spread.  The cat is out of the bag already.  Whatever bat virus this was has mutated and found its way into the first patient, and it has since spread to over 100,000 people across the world, because it is passed from human to human now.

I think I agree with you on all this.   It seems like so far off in the future, but by summertime we will be recovering from the virus, and the economy will be getting back in gear.  So it may be that by October November timeframe we're looking at it in the past.

This is indeed the most likely outcome from my point of view.

Bloomberg has been blasting the local radio stations with ads. I can't listen to the radio without hearing another Bloomberg ad. It's annoying because he talks about how we're all God's children and we should care about all the marginalized groups because of our American values in the commercial.... but he's all right with killing innocent babies through abortion so anyone who is in favor of abortion hardly has the right to talk about being one of God's children or about American values.

Though a very bad outcome in the November Presidential election could still occur,  I'm grateful that Mike Bloomberg is out of the Presidential Race.  The fact that many consider Bloomberg a 'moderate' by itself made him extremely dangerous both domestically and in terms of foreign policy.  Bloomberg's Social Conservative positions,  which are horrific,  are reflective of all of his positions.
