Census Bureau to Delay Results Until After Inauguration

Short version: the "resistance" within the administrative state isn't even trying to hide it anymore.

    The Census Bureau will miss a year-end deadline for handing in numbers used for divvying up congressional seats, a delay that could undermine President Donald Trump’s efforts to exclude people in the country illegally from the count if the figures aren’t submitted before President-elect Joe Biden takes office.

    The Census Bureau plans to deliver a population count of each state in early 2021, as close to the missed deadline as possible, the statistical agency said in a statement late Wednesday.

By, "as close to the missed deadline as possible", they mean right after they expect the Biden administration to take power.

    Internal documents obtained earlier this month by the House Committee on Oversight and Reform show that Census Bureau officials don’t expect the apportionment numbers to be ready until days after Biden is inaugurated on Jan. 20.

And if President Trump stays in office, they'll find a way to delay it for another 4 years.

As I've been saying for a while now, the bureaucracy runs the country, elected officials run it only to the extent that the administration state allows them to. It's one reason why Democrats are able to get so much more done in office.

The office is not a universal tool, a hammer that anyone can use, it's the sword in the stone. If you want to wield it, you had better be chosen by the Left. If you're not, you will be obstructed. The harder you push, the obstructionism will intestify, turn into sabotage, damaging leaks, and outright rejectionism. Since the census bureau is one of the keys to the Democrat grip on power, they were not about to actually allow the Trump administration to clean up the census numbers, much as Stacey Abrams' sister is not about to allow anyone to clean up Georgia's voter rolls.

Anyway it won't surprise you to learn that pretty much everyone quoted in the article is a Democrat operative and that they keep claiming that the delays intended to allow illegal aliens to maintain 'ghost districts' for the Democrats, especially in the West, are all about quality control.

Those ghost districts made by counting illegal aliens is just another way to rig elections long before they even happen.
