Spiders are out of the question  .  I have to draw the line somewhere.
We do have a turtle (that is older then BullCat Jr.) and a crayfish.
When she picked out the crayfish he had no claws.  I tried to convince her to pick another one.  She just knew his claws would grow back...and one day they did.  The power of positive thinking  .
The puppy is our newest and last addition.
Do you like SPIDERS - Sarah?

I don't have anything against them. Anything that eats flies and moths is a definite friend of mine. :) Does your turtle have to be in water all the time?

In an Australian magazine I picked up the other day, they were selling chocolate coated ants on a stick and....cruchy toffee scorpions.
Theres also a funny fact which said that the average chocolate bar contains 8 insect legs. Yummy? ;D

You can never go wrong with a good rat.  Just kidding.  I like both cats and dogs, but not necessarily in my apartment (allergies and dirt concerns).  As far as a cool cat, how about those Spynx cats or Russian blues.

You can go extremely wrong. :) It was in the news here recently that a man whos pet rat had nipped him, piercing the skin, died after 2 days. He didn't get an injection straight away and since rats can carry up to 10 fatal diseases, including rabies-which he contracted.....he passed away.

In India there is a tribe which worships and lives with rats.

I love both cats and dogs, but to own them, cats are much more practical for me than dogs. I can leave my Cha Chi and Sashi alone all day when I go to work, and as long as they have fresh food, water, and litter, they're fine. They are so friendly and affectionate and are truly the joy of my life. Anyone who thinks that cats are standoffish should meet my two lovely furballs.

Many times when I get dressed in the morning, my Cha Chi will meow profusely and grab me by the arms and literally try to prevent me from getting dressed since he knows that I will be leaving after this. When I get home, they greet me by the door and want to climb on my lap and be petted. They have fresh food, water, and litter when I leave them home alone, and yet they still show how much they don't like it when I leave. That's what makes me doubt Chaim's opinion of cats that they are nothing more than creatures who are out to satisfy their baser needs and that if they were big enough, they'd eat me.

I like dogs, because muslims hate them. I want to get a German Shepard or a rottweiler.

I'm stuck with 2 birds, they [censored] all over the place :(

I suggest a nice overnight marinade before roasting on medium heat for 45min.
Nuke the arabs till they glow, then shoot them in the dark.

I hope that's not the only reason you like dogs. By that stretch of logic, we should love pigs too ;)

Dogs are worthy of our love because they are such lovely creatures regardless or anyone elses feelings for them.

I hope I'm not barking up the wrong tree here :)

I wouldn't mind buying out all the bacon bits at the local mcdonalds while flying a plane over mecca while it rains pork. I can see it now while the muslims scream like the witch in wizard of oz "WE'RE MELTING!!"

Other than that, I just love dogs because they are loyal smart animals, heck I shouldn't even call them animals, they are more human to me than some of the other so called humanoids that inhabit this planet. I was reading a story about a owner who had a dog and a cat, passed away and the dog was sitting there mourning the loss while the cat starting eating the decomposing body. Damn those cats >_<

Yeah, dogs sense emotions and sudden feelings quite easily, and are affected by them.

Cats are.....sophisticated. :)

Sarah or dumb.

Cats are dumb?!

No way, they're cunning creatures.......

There was a guard dog at a place I went to and the people were having a barbecue. The cats -street- started emerging from under the hedge, and the dog wasn't having any of it but the cats wouldn't give up and ambushed the dog, dashing around like pieces on a chess board!

I'm 15. Thats great, whats her name? Why don't you get her to post?

I think cats can sense emotions too. When I come home feeling sad or upset, it seems like my cats pay extra close attention and concern to me. I remember last summer after watching the World Trade Center movie, I felt very sad and moved by this and was crying all the way home. When I came through the door, it seemed like my cats were very cuddly and affectionate, significantly more than usual, and looked at me with very wide and concerned eyes. I sensed that they probably sensed how sad I was feeling. My previous cat would put her paw on my leg and look at me with a wide and concerned look in her eyes whenever I felt upset or down about something. So I think cats can definitely sense emotions and take care of their owners. (as I have my Cha Chi lying right up against me sleeping while typing this message :) )
