Will Yair Lapid become PM one day?

Benny Gantz was supposed to become Prime Minister under the outgoing government but it didn't even last a year. If that happens again, Bennett will be PM during any caretaker government until a clear majority wins an election. If there would have been new elections again, Gantz would automatically become PM if no new government was formed by November.

Now with Netanyahu out, maybe Likud will have a different leader and that New Hope which calls itself Right Wing would not refuse to sit with. The new government could fall without elections if enough Knesset members vote against it and then decide on a new candidate. The new coalition is only united on hating Netanyahu so now that they got him out, there's nothing stopping Yamina and New Hope from trying to form a different government with the Right. If Yamina sits with Ein Atid for 4 years, that is the end of Bennett's career. All his votes will to to the Religious Zionism Party.
