It was not pikuach nefesh for Bennett to be there &his presence was not essential he was definately mechalel shabbat!!!

There is no tactical decision that can not be made without him it was not pikuach nefesh

How can that b possible? In US, President is Commander in Chief. In such an operation, POTUS would be the 1 making final & highest level decisions. For natl security purposes, he absolutely should b there as integral part of operation leadership. Is this not the same case for Israeli Prime Minister?

In micro situations such as catching prison escapees, the Israeli PM (or POTUS for that matter) doesnt add any value, operational or otherwise, it is all up to the police/intelligence agencies/army. The politicians are only there for the photo-op (which was Chilul Shabbat on its own).

Can't he give the orders remotely? Did Donald Trump go in person whenever he ordered the army to kill a terrorist? Obviously a phone call is less Chillul Shabbat than travelling.

The soldiers are permitted to travel on Shabbat. If Bennett himself was leading the battle, he could have gone but modern day heads of state are not soldiers (except among Muslim Nazi and other dictatorship regimes).

If Bennett illogically deemed this frivolity as some
type of necessity, it should have been handled
in a manner not in violation of Shabbat.
