Ukraine summed up in one picture
« on: March 05, 2022, 05:50:35 PM »
During an interview with PBS, the Ukrainian mayor of the city of Konotop, was crying crocodile tears about the Russians attacking his city.

Behind him on his office wall is a blurred out painting of the Ukrainian Nazi mass murderer Stepan Bandera, whose people took part in the murder of 1.6 million Ukrainian Jews, a national hero in Ukraine.

This is a mayor in a city in Ukraine who openly puts a painting of the Ukranian Hitler in his office, yes? And nobody in Ukraine has a problem with that.

I wonder why he (or the mainstream media trash he was speaking to) wanted that image blurred.

Similarly to Muslims, they are proud Nazis when they speak their own language, and poor victims who never hurt anyone when they speak in English.

Actual Nazis in Ukraine are 2% of the vote according to the Israel Advocacy movement. Now what?
Gentiles are obligated to fulfill the Seven Noahide Commandments because they are the eternal command of God, transmitted through Moses our teacher in the Torah. The main and best book on details of Noahide observance is "The Divine Code" by Rabbi Moshe Weiner.

No idea what the hell is "Israel Advocacy Movement" or why does the crap "they" spew should matter, but Bandera, Petliura and Hmelnitzky are above all politics among Ukrainians. They are consensus. They are worshipped.

You don't name streets, cities and regions, and make national currency bills and status after people that a fringe 2% of the population loves.

In western democracies, even political figures that HALF of the population likes, don't get anywhere near the amount of love that the Ukrainian Jew-butcherers do, let alone 2%.

This suggests the Ukrainians love the people you mentioned despite their attitude towards Jews, not because of it.

What am I supposed to conclude when the voting data doesn't back your relentless accusations against the Ukrainians?

Is this mayor murdering Jews, or Russians or anyone? If all you have on him is a portrait of a despicable figure it is just not enough to convince me that I Ukraine is not the good side of this conflict.

We don't hate all Catholics even though their church is extremely Anti-Semitic and pro-fakestinian. They sainted one of the kings of France for burning the Talmud in front of the Louvre. We don't have to hate every single Catholic.

I can understand the argument on both sides however I refuse to believe that all Ukrainians are Nazis. I was there quite a few times and I met some really rotten people and I met some really great righteous people. They thought I was Israeli when I was there and some people were very kind to me. Do we even know if a majority of them are nazis? Give me scientific polls, something unbiased factual and statistically valid. I am open to change my mind. But dont give me anecdotal evidence where one guy said this or this group said this did this etc. Come on guys be scientific about this. This reminds me when liberals say all blacks are victims of hurtful prejudice and have no opportunities. Lets be scientific, mathematical and statistically valid. I note the issue with the portrait. But how many Ukrainians are aware of this? If they were all nazis how could they have a president who is even remotely Jewish or jewish descent? As far as Bandera where does it say he killed Jews? I dont think he was a saint but I didn't see that he killed Jews. But maybe I am not reading carefully please correct me. This article says he was put into a concentration camp and then fought against nazis and russians (I could be wrong) :  https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wikiStepan_Banderat

Is David Duke murdering Jews?

That's an article about the guy

What am I supposed to conclude when the voting data doesn't back your relentless accusations against the Ukrainians?

That you are making excuses for people who support Nazis (Bandera, Petluira, Hmelnitzky) who took part in the murder of more than 2 million Jews?

Is there a good reason to support Hitler?

Is there a good reason to support the Ustase?

2. Antisemitism is MAINSTREAM in Ukraine.

An Ukrainian party doesn't need to be sporting the insignia of the German National Socialist Workers Party to be typically antisemitic when Ukraine has its own local Hitlers celebrated everywhere.

When Bandera was awarded the title "Hero of Ukraine" by President Yushcenko

https://www.rferl.org/amp/Yushchenko_Grants_Hero_Status_To_Controversial_Ukrainian_Nationalist/1937123.html

When President Poroshenko went to diplomatic war with Poland after they passed a law banning the Bandera ideology (Bandera liked killing Poles almost as much as he liked to murder Jews)

https://ukranews.com/en/news/544837-poroshenko-denouncing-new-law-on-banning-bandera-ideology-calling-for-poland-to-open-to-dialogue

When its former PM of Ukraine, Yatsenyuk, is a WW2 revisionist who was pictured doing the Nazi salute in a rally in Kiev (to his left is the current mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko)

https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2015/01/19/yats-j19.html

The same Vitali Klitschko named the street leading to BABI YAR after Bandera

https://www.timesofisrael.com/kiev-renames-major-street-to-honor-russian-nazi-collaborator/amp/

And these are all politicians from the political center.

As far as Bandera where does it say he killed Jews?

1. In the same Wiki article you posted:

"Bandera was an antisemite and Nazi collaborator.[70]

Bandera's OUN faction adopted the program 'Struggle and action of OUN during the war' which outlined the plans for activities at the onset of the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union and the western territories of the Ukrainian SSR.[63] The program declared:

'The Jews in the USSR constitute the most faithful support of the ruling Bolshevik regime, and the vanguard of Muscovite imperialism in Ukraine'

Section G of the program – 'Directives for organizing the life of the state during the first days' outlined activity of the Bandera followers during mid-1941.[64] In a subsection on 'Minority Policy', the leaders of OUN-B ordered:

'Moskali [i.e. ethnic Russians], Poles, and Jews that are hostile to us are to be destroyed in struggle, particularly those opposing the regime'

Later in June, Yaroslav Stetsko sent to Bandera a report in which he stated "We are creating a militia which will help to remove the Jews and protect the population."[78][79] Leaflets spread in the name of Bandera in the same year called for the "destruction" of "Moscow", Poles, Hungarians and Jewry.[80][81][82] In 1941–1942 while Bandera was cooperating with the Germans, OUN members did take part in anti-Jewish actions. German police at 1941 reported that 'fanatic' Bandera followers, organised in small groups were 'extraordinarily active' against Jews and communists.[83]

The most famous action of mass murder by Bandera and his men was in the Lvov pogrom 1941 but they were murdering Jews all over Ukraine

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lviv_pogroms_(1941)

2. Even the ADL, who are notorious for ignoring and minimizing antisemitism, report that half of Ukraine's populaton is bluntly antisemitic and the rate is increasing (poll from 2019)

3. As for Zelensky, is it really the first time that you have seen an antisemitic country that has self hating Jews in power? Walter Rathenau in Germany, Leon Blum in France, Bela Kun* in Hungary, Bruno Kreisky in Austria? It surprises you that Nazis have no issues using token Jews? Ukraine's goal is getting accepted into the EU and there is no better way of improving its image than having a token Jew in power (in Ukraine, like in Russia, the real rulers are the oligarchs, anyway). Zelensky is a token self hating Jew from an assimilated family, who married a non-Jewish woman and whose children are Christian, a Jew who gives "hero of Ukraine" honors to soldiers from the Nazi Right Sector organization (whose leader marched in Kiev calling for the expulsion of all Jews):

I wouldn't want to be associated with any of these guys. David Duke is sort of an example to my point. I think he was a representative for the Republicans in California or somewhere wasn't he? doesn't mean all Republicans or all Americans are nazis.
Anyway my position is not to try to whitewash ukrainian past and present antisemitism, however I can also see their positive side and the fact that the vast majority of modern Ukrainians aren't like that.

I standcorrected. However you cannot tell me that the whole country is against Jews. If they were they would never have a Jewish president. You can't tell me almost every last Ukrainian is an antisemite. I was in Odessa more than once and there were so many Orthodox Jews there, I thought I was in Crown Heights. If they were all Nazis there is no way they would let such a huge orthodox community in Ukraine.

Baloney.

Let's get a few things straight about the "Jews" in Ukraine:

1)  Post FSU perestroika, Or Avner tasked itself with helping out remnant Jews and potential emigrants
2)  Post 9/11, many of those people working there on a temporary basis realized that the West was no longer worth living in, and remained
3)  The job they were doing since then shifted from assisting those remnant or emigre Jews (because they were now either dead or had left) to promoting assimilation (albeit indirectly)

An example is the "Jewish" school in Dnipropetrovsk, which has always been at least 3/4 non-Jewish, probably closer to above 95% now.

The school is meant to facilitate the children of assimilated Jews like Igor Kolomoisky:

Sorry to the Ukrainian nazi sympathizers here, but Judaism is not a "chain-migration" religion like leftist-America is.  Who is a Jew is defined very strictly by the Rabbis, and to the Lubavitcher Rebbe's great shame, who he himself spoke very strongly about this, we see the types of tuchus lickers who orbit the oligarchs, in a court-Jew Berel Lazar'esque fashion.

As far as I am concerned, Ukraine is a Nazi country, and there are no Jews there, and any Jew living there is quite irredeemable in my eyes.

Sorry, don't expect to go living in Nazi countries and then have everyone bail you out afterwards...  Control your sex drive and don't sleep with that Ukrainian whore so that you won't have to take your mamzer later on to the Rabbi to get converted.

I brought David Duke as an answer to your question that implied that if one isn't physically murdering Jews at a given point then he isn't really a Nazi but "just has the portrait of a despicable guy in his office".

The Ukrainian guy is a Nazi because he supports Bandera, he is not more or less Nazi than Ukrainian who supports Bandera and that is the Ukrainian nation as a collective (he was officialy honored with the "Hero of Ukraine", not 80 years ago but few years ago).

And you're talking about this portrait as if it's a portrait of some unappetizing food, it's a portrait of a notorious Nazi mass murderer. No one holding public office in America would dare to put a picture of Hitler in his office and if he did there would be a backlash and he would be forced to remove it and retire. Not so with the Ukrainian Hitler in Ukraine.

When my grandmother's family were almost entirely wiped out by the Ukrainians in the same Odessa there was a much larger Jewish community

As an Israeli citizen I do not support either Russia or Ukraine & consider this to be a blessing in disguise for us as the whole world is preoccupied with the Russian- Ukranian conflict & will leave us alone while this is going on about the Arabs who call themselves "Palestinians" & as a matter of fact I hope this drags on until 2024 until Bite Em  is voted out of office!!!
