Does V. Putin Head of Russia Have a Jewish Mother?
« on: March 16, 2022, 05:53:00 PM »
A Web site which seems to be anti-Jewish claimed based on the passport of Putin's mother that she was Jewish. I don't understand Russian and I don't know if the passport is fake or real.
Is there anyone has information to verify this or dispute it.
The site making the claim is https://fitzinfo.net/2021/05/18/putin-is-a-jew-documents-from-the-presidents-biography-confirm-rumours/

If the claim is true.
According to Wikipedia Putin is connected to Russian Orthodox Christianity Quote https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Putin#Religion
Religion

Putin and wife Lyudmila in New York at a service for victims of the 11 September attacks, 16 November 2001
Putin is Russian Orthodox. His mother was a devoted Christian believer who attended the Russian Orthodox Church, while his father was an atheist.[651] Though his mother kept no icons at home, she attended church regularly, despite government persecution of her religion at that time. His mother secretly baptized him as a baby, and she regularly took him to services.[26]

According to Putin, his religious awakening began after a serious car crash involving his wife in 1993, and a life-threatening fire that burned down their dacha in August 1996.[651] Shortly before an official visit to Israel, Putin's mother gave him his baptismal cross, telling him to get it blessed. Putin states, "I did as she said and then put the cross around my neck. I have never taken it off since."[26] When asked in 2007 whether he believes in God, he responded: "There are things I believe, which should not in my position, at least, be shared with the public at large for everybody's consumption because that would look like self-advertising or a political striptease."[652] Putin's rumoured confessor is Russian Orthodox Bishop Tikhon Shevkunov.[653] The sincerity of his Christianity has been rejected by his former advisor Sergei Pugachev.[654]

Field number 6 describes the surname, name and patronymic of the father and mother. The highlighted text says Shelomova Marija Ivanovna. The abbreviation is unclear, possibly meaning Jewess or European.
Gentiles are obligated to fulfill the Seven Noahide Commandments because they are the eternal command of God, transmitted through Moses our teacher in the Torah. The main and best book on details of Noahide observance is "The Divine Code" by Rabbi Moshe Weiner.

His mother was a devout Christian Slav who baptized him in secret.

Shelomov is not an uncommon Russian-Ukrainian name.

Yes, it stands for Yevrey (Jew), but I thought it was obvious that the "document" is a really bad fake. In Russia and Ukraine it's common to "accuse" political rivals of being secretly Jewish.

The city name Leningrad is spelled as Leningra, the address misses details and uses house numbers that did not exist in the city until the 2000s, and these are just the tip of the iceberg.

Putin's ancestry is not exactly a secret, his family line is recorded all the way back to 17th century Christian peasants from the Tver region in western Russia, including which lord they served
