I wanted John Bolton to be Secretary of State, not Condi Rice.  Bolton wouldn't waste time with foolish diplomacy with those who aren't capable of it.

Bolton would have been a far better choice in that position. Bush really made a mistake with both people he appointed. He should have given them other positions in his administration if he needed them there for color. Secretary of State requires only the best. Sadly neither of his lived up to what was required.
