I am looking at the long term effect of the President declaring that Jerusalem is the Capital of Israel, which it always has been and always will be, and moving the US embassy there.      Daniel 2:21.   He, (Hashem,). changes times and seasons, he removes kings and sets them up,  he gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding.  God's ways are not our ways,  we may not understand his purposes,  but by gosh they will be accomplished.  He is in charge of Human history.   He even brought Obama against the Jews and Christians to wake them up!    Jerusalem should never be divided,  that day that happens the Peace of Jerusalem goes.

Zechariah 12:2-9. "Behold I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem.  And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples, all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.   In that day," says the Lord, "I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness;  I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.    This is a definite sign of the Last Days.  This is where the Curse that God spoke of to Abraham,  comes on the enemies of Israel.
