I’ve always loved the frankness of John Bolton. Today he was asked about Trump potentially decertifying the Iran deal next week and his response was awesome, saying that the question of certification is utterly irrelevant.

He explains below:

Bolton said he’s worried Trump’s advisors are pushing him down the wrong road and Trump’s on the verge of making a big mistake.

He does admit that it’s better to decertify than certify, however he points out the entire deal needs to be repealed just as Trump promised on the campaign trail.

He said you can’t argue that the Iran deal is bad for our national security and then keep the deal.
