Poll: 33% of DEMOCRATS want Clinton to quit if indicted over emails
In the latest poll highlighting voter concerns about Hillary Rodham Clinton and her honesty gap, one third of Democrats believe she should leave the presidential race if indicted over the State Department email scandal.
A new survey from Zogby Analytics provided to Secrets found that 57 percent of all likely voters believe she should stop running if indicted — 47 percent “strongly agree,” and 10 percent “somewhat agree.”
Not surprisingly 82 percent of Republicans said that she should get out of the race if indicted.
Among Democrats, 33 percent said she should drop out. Said the anaysis: “A third (33%) of Democrats disagreed she should still run for president (22% strongly and 11% somewhat).”
The FBI is continuing to probe the issue of Clinton using a private server in her New York home to discuss State Department business, even classified work. Reports have shown that the system could easily be hacked into.
Zogby’s online poll of 837 likely voters also found that Millennial voters think she should drop out if indicted. “More striking is the fact that key Democratic groups such as Millennials, who are not too familiar with the former Secretary of State and First Lady, overwhelmingly disagreed (51% strongly and 8% somewhat) she should still run for president if indicted,” said the analysis.
And it was even worse among women, with 62 percent feeling she should stop running, said Zogby.
I hope she does get indicted.
