President Donald Trump complains to his golf club that the White House is a “real dump”
While there are homeless people on the streets, out of touch Trump thinks living at the White House mansion is horrible because it’s just a “real dump.”
The latest issue of Sports Illustrated claimed that President Trump slammed the White House during a recent stop at his Bedminister club, and many on Twitter were not happy about it.
From Golf.com:
Chatting with some members before a recent round of golf, [Trump] explained his frequent appearances: “That White House is a real dump.”
Trump is often at his most unguarded among the people who pay for their proximity to him. Last November, the President-elect hosted a cocktail reception and dinner at Bedminster on the same weekend that he was holding interviews at the club with candidates for his Cabinet.
At the dinner, Trump addressed the members of the club by saying, “This is my real group. You are the special people. I see all of you. I recognize, like, 100% of you, just about.” Then he issued an open invitation to drop in on his Cabinet interviews the next day.
Those on Twitter who read the profile did not respond too well to the president allegedly referring to the White House as a “real dump.”
See some of the comments below, including from former first daughter Chelsea Clinton, who seemed to take the reported diss as a personal affront.
Thank you to all the White House ushers, butlers, maids, chefs, florists, gardeners, plumbers, engineers & curators for all you do every day https://t.co/rjQS9HeALG

Trump thinks the White House is a real dump. Well, many Americans think a human heap of garbage has taken up residence there. https://t.co/4sfIyJ3re4

Imagine for a single second if Obama had called the White House a “real dump.” https://t.co/wbMh14Fbk1
