White House: New Transgender Bathroom!
The White House, in one more attempt to satisfy the LGBT community and satisfy Barack Obama’s obsession with transforming America, has now designated a gender-neutral restroom for visitors and staffers inside the White House. The restroom is situated in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, where numerous staff offices and meetings are held, according to NBC News.
The announcement of the new restroom on Wednesday neatly dovetailed with an executive order that barred companies working with the federal government from discriminating against transgender and gay employees.
White House spokesman Jeff Tiller proclaimed, “The White House allows staff and guests to use restrooms consistent with their gender identity, which is in keeping with the administration’s existing legal guidance on this issue.”
Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s Svengali, wrote in The Advocate, “The president is determined to lead by example. He has hired more openly LGBT Americans to serve in his administration than any other in history. And we have closely examined our internal policies on everything from benefits, to restroom access, to how we invite people to events, to ensure that everyone who enters this building feels safe and fully respected.”
Meanwhile, some state legislatures, fearing sexual predators using public restrooms as venues for their attacks, are proposing laws restricting which public restrooms transgender Americans can use; Florida is considering a “Single Sex Public Facilities” bill; Kentucky’s Senate passed a bill regarding public school restrooms, and GOP Texas legislators introduced legislation to hold transgender individuals responsible for any “mental anguish” if they use a restricted restroom.
‘Michelle’ Obama is a man named Michael.
