Who's we? besides, mills doesn't even know what i look like yet.

I do, maybe mills should get a peek  ^-^

Very nice couple in the making here  O0

Ok, Mills you want a peak?  Are you on facebook?

Now you are getting the idea boy  O0

No, not facebook but I'm on myspace. I'm not too hard to find, but my JTFfemale Myspace is not my Personal one and I'm, not under Mills either. I would put up the link but we all know that there are crazy mooslims and other nazis who spy on the forum.

LOL, I had no idea my question would cause so much commotion. I sometimes feel that I wont be good enough for whoever I marry in the future. But no matter what, I hope it works out not just for me but for everyone else on the forum looking for that someone special  ;)

See? Humble?

btw, i sent you a picture of me so you know who is answering your questions...

also, I did see a profile by the name Mills Addams age 97 from Hollywood...That has to be you.
LOL, How did you find me? Yes that's me!

I was going through the myspace videos that Chaim made and saw that you commented on them...so I saw Millie Adaams a cute girl with black hair..and went on your profile just to make sure since the youtube videos you made you wore those hot glasses..and, sure enough, it was you. :)

Why on earth wouldn't any woman want to have her clitoris cut off, her head put into a bag and be treated like livestock? ::)

Whats the rush at 36 for?

to get married.

I went to a wedding last year of this couple i know, they are in their 80's, known each other all there lives, watched each other marry, others raise their familes, their grand children.

And finally they married each other in the end. They both waited a life time to be happy. So this 36 mark I think is more than a little out of wack.

Marriage is more that having kids and sex. Its more about companionship. Rushing into anything because of a number is never wise.

Women can have children up to the 63 I think is the oldest. HRT allows women to extend the ability to carry a child.

It's not the age of having the child...it's letting your child grow up and see you grow older without dying and getting sick on them when they are 17 years old...and it's you as a mother or father that gets to watch them get married and have children of their own...

It's just insane to wait until a very old age to have children and only be able to have about one or two...And it's not fair to the kids who lose their parents when they are barely in their 20's...Gd willing, I want to be able to have children young enough so that I can still play ball with them!

I agree.

Men who father children in their 60s are silly, old fools trying to prove their virility. The human life span is still "three score and ten" (70 years). Have 'em by 45 or forget it.

Maybe they married late and are trying to fulfill the mitsva incumbent upon them to have children? It really depends on the situation.

That mitzvah is not absolute.

Noah's family did not procreate on the ark. They waited until they got to land.

Joseph only had 2 children because Egypt was in famine.

You cannot have children if you cannot support them so you should not if you are likely to die before they reach adulthood.

Well a couple issues here....

Better to have a child than to never have a child.
However, while young, don't delay having children too late or getting married to have children too late. In marriage you have to be selfless and understand that your farts don't necessarily smell good to everyone, so to speak.
There is a rule, I heard, in Judaism that if one cannot afford to have challah each shabbat or somethign like that, can wait to have children.

Joseph only had 2 children because Egypt was in famine.

You cannot have children if you cannot support them so you should not if you are likely to die before they reach adulthood.

Noah was not Jewish. There is no mitsva for a gentile to have kids, as far as I know.

Yosef haTsaddiq had two children because he simply had two children. He was royalty, the most powerful man in Egypt, and didn't starve at all, and neither would his kids. Moreover, the Torah specifically says that the Jews multiplied greatly as soon as the 70 individuals set-up shop in the prime real estate of Goshen: "And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt in the land of Goshen, and they acquired property in it, and they were prolific and multiplied greatly." (Genesis 47:27).

Even King Hezekia was weary of having children because he (correctly) foresaw that his son would be a wicked man and lead Israel into idolatry. G-d scolded him for that, and he eventually had that son.

Sara Immenu had her son Yishaq, despite her old age. It was the biggest blessing she could have ever asked for.

I was paraphrasing a Rabbi I saw on a show about population.

The point is (according to him) that one should not have children unless environmental and economic conditions allow for it. That is the lesson drawn from Noach and Joseph. It was also the case in Russia's shtetls for some.

Obviously this has not applied to Jews in the USA, Israel and other affluent countries. But I think it would apply to an elderly person who has little chance of remaining alive to support the child to adulthood.

dying that young is much rarer than dying older, thank Gd...so bang goes that theory...but I'm sorry to see that your father passed away at a young age. People like your father dying so young is extremely rare, though.

You would be surprised at ages of death of people, most I deal with are 30 to 50. Just its not posted in papers. The death rate of below 25 is shocking.

Old age is not a given.

Its ok, no need to be sorry, death is natural part of life, its g-ds will.
