1. In a question about Jeremiah Wright, he was basically asked, "What did you know and when did you know it?" He was spinning his response. He was asked why he had asked Wright to give the introduction for Obama's announcement of his candidacy, but then decided to cancel Wright the day before after realizing that Wright might be too controversial; so if Obama thought he was too controversial, why has he been with that church for more than 20 years and why did he claim to not know anything about Wright's statements regarding 9/11, about Aids, etc?
Obama's response was awful and didn't answer the question.
2. He was asked a question about how he had accused people of clinging to religion, guns, "anti-immigrant sentiment" (refusing to use the term illegal aliens) and anti-trade sentiment.
His response implied that religion, the 2nd amendment, enforcing immigration laws and fair trade, are all irrelevant. And that he kept pleading that people should just be bitter and angry at the Bush administration since we might be in a recession.
Hillary stated that people's views of religion, the 2nd amendment, etc., are independent of how the feel about the government. And that these issues are important to people regardless of whether they're happy with the federal government or disappointed in it. Obama clearly doesn't understand that.
3. Obama was actually asked about his relationship with William Ayers. Obama spinned around the question and basically tried to accuse the moderators of being "too decisive" or "playing politics." If Obama can't handle the questions, he shouldn't be a candidate.
I think Hillary mentioned that Obama attended a fund-raiser at Ayers' residence when Obama ran for the state senate.
All three of these issues show that Obamas' character is dismal. It is in no way worthy of being the president. He refuses to take responsibility and refuses to admit his relationship with Wright, Ayers, or his disrespect to those who consider religion, 2nd amendment, immigration laws or trade, to be important issues to them.
4. In a question about taxes, Obama was reminded about how he mentioned in an interview that he'd want to basically double the capital gains tax. And one of the moderators told him that when the capital gains tax has been decreased, revenue gained by the government has actually increased. In contrast, when the tax has increased, the revenue has declined. So the moderator asked Obama for an explanation as to why he wants to increase the tax? And Obama gave an awful explanation that made no sense.
