True...a military dictatorship controls Myanmar, a Buddhist country which Japan invaded during WWII when the rest of the world knew her name to be Burma.
The UN and the world media constantly demand that Myanmar hold "free elections" and allow "democracy" to rule the government.
What greatly troubles me, is that the exact same UN and world media continues to denounce Israel and demand that the "democratically elected Hamas/PLO/Nazis" should be given "all lands 'occupied by Israel since 1948'".
The same UN and world media denounced the South Vietnamese government, and demanded that the "democratic Viet Cong peoples' movement made up of peaceful Buddhist peasants" should be given all of Viet Nam.
I therefore consider these denunciations of the military government in Dangoon (formerly known as Rangoon), Myanmar (formerly Burma) by the same international entities which denounce Israel and Zionism (UN, U.S. State Department, the world media, EU, Red China) to be highly suspect.
The endless demands of the so-called "International Community"for Burma's military rulers to "Free Ang Song Su-Chi", feminist female activist for "democracy", may very well be disguised calls for instigating a Communist takeover of an ancient and traditionally Buddhist agricultural nation!
The military rulers of Burma denounce Globalism and denounce the New World Order, and have kept their nation "sealed" out of fears that its population will be exploited as slave labor by the New World Order Supra-National Corporatists, its countryside stripped of its natural resources by Japan and China, and a far worse Communist dictatorship be "democratically elected" under the approving eye of Jimmy Carter and UN Terrorists.
If any members here know more about the civil unrest in Burma, other than what they've read in The New York Times or seen in the western media "nightly newscasts" from CNN and MSNBC, I welcome their sharing their knowledge here on the JTF Forum.
Otherwise, I am happy to know that the military rulers there refuse to accept both U.S. "Foreign Aid" and U.S. State Department interference in their domestic and internal affairs.
Thank G-d that there is at least one government on the planet which stands on its own, and tells the "International Community" and World Bank "THANKS, BUT NO THANKS!"
Hopefully a Kahanist Government of The Land of Israel will one day soon follow the Myanmar Government's fierce sense of national sovereignty and independence.
