McCain has thrown the election. It is clear now with his choice for Vice President that he has no desire to win in November. Why else would he chose an inexperienced woman, whose only apparent qualification is that she won a beauty pageant in the 1980s? Why else would he refuse to say Barack Hussein Obama’s middle name? Why else would he run an ad praising Obama and congratulating him for winning the nomination?

If McCain had chosen Mitt Romney, a man with real leadership ability, real charisma, and real experience, he might have stood a chance. He could have made up for his lack of energy in confronting his opponent, his useless pandering to liberals, and his refusal to expose Obama’s leftism and inexperience. Instead he trumped inexperience with more inexperience. Obama, for all his far-left socialism, picked a running mate who is perceived as giving the ticket more experience. McCain, in defiance of all logic, undermined his strong suit by selecting a political neophyte who waters down his key advantage over Obama.

Of course, I can hear the calls already. Mike, you should give her a chance, she’s a real conservative. Mike, he’s just doing this because he knows he has to pander to win. Mike, isn’t it great that he picked a woman. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Picking someone because of their sex instead of their ability is the same kind of affirmative action insanity that the Democrats have shoved down our throats. We don’t want a panderer, we want a president. If he had chosen a woman who was a real nationalist with a real resume, I would have said, “Right on, John.” But McCain has dropped the ball, thrown in the towel, and raised the white flag. And a generation of Americans will pay for his mistake.

The conservative base wanted Palin. The Free Republic poll shows 70 percent of members who didn't support McCain before will now support him because of Palin. Other polls like rasmussen and Zogby has Palin with favorable ratings among conservatives and independents and a McCain boost as well. And McCain got a 7 million dollar influx of donations since he picked her.

Savage is completely wrong on this issue. He is going to lose much of his audience by bashing Palin. I am very angry with him right now.

I'm one of the people who decided to give John McCain's campaign a donation because of the Sarah Palin selection. I wouldn't have done so if any of the other names being mentioned as McCain's running mate was chosen. Hopefully, enough people will prove Michael Savage wrong.

I can't stand Michael Weiner. Recently I got xm radio in my car and I listen to Rusty Humphries who is very popular in middle America. He is on the radio in the southern states. He is a zionist and is too right wing to be on any of the new york stations. Chaimfan, try to find a way to listen to his show. You will like it.

Has he talked about Chaim? Michael Savage has lost all credibility with being against Palin. We are in for the fight of our lives over the next few months and he just wants to have an opinion that no one expects him to have just to have higher ratings?

Maybe he never was a conservative and will come out of the closet as a liberal. It's possible his whole show is a fascade.

Medved said he thinks Michael Savage is a liberal who pretends to be conservative for money. Savage makes a dime on every possible thing. He sells hats and shirts and advertises to the gills with his website. When he had that lawsuit, he asked people to donate money to him. Every "encore presentation rerun" is the same episode where he asks for donations. He made millions and millions, his son owns Rockstar energy drinks and he wants $20 from the truckers, retail clerks and retired people for his lawsuit. I will not listen to him anymore.

i was listening to his show the other night. It's not that he hates her..he thinks that she's a fine person...However, he feels that she was the wrong pick for McCain because she's basically a nobody...

Here's my point of view where i disagree and agree with him: For those of us who are part of the big cities and surrounded by flashy lights, we would agree that paline was a terrible pick. However, for the middle class, working class, blue collar class, non lazy lower middle class, Paline is a symbol of small-town america. Someone who is an outsider. Someone who is real. Someone who is positive. Some one who has a good heart. If the majority of people in this country who vote are the middle class, workign class, non lazy lower middle class, blue collar class, who cannot stand the snobby attitudes of the democrats especially Obama and his wife, they will hands down go for palin.

Also, she looks good on camera. People feel good when they see her smile and hear her talk. She will become a somebody and everyone is fascinated with her. I think things will work out in McCain's favor because she is very likable and very hard to hate, unlike female democrats such as Hillary.

However she does seem to be a better candidate overall than Romney because she's much more conservative than he is. Of course I don't completely trust any politician but that's politics for you.

he's a cynic.. I was going back and forth with another conservative talk show host (Al Franken?)...and he had better points than Savage. He was saying about the deomcrats complaining she had no experience...errhmm...look at Obama... He went on further that the democrats put down the elderly and females...in the way they poke fun of McCain's age and his female running mate as well as the way Hillary was treated...

he's only opposed to her because nobody has ever heard of her. She's inexperienced.

I say, so what? She has the right idea with her politics and she will help McCain get a lot of undecided voters. It also takes the camera off of Obama's ugly face on to a much prettier face.

Probably true..he has a unique show but if I find out he bashed Chaim or JTF I'm done with him. Chaim is so right when he says talk radio wastes resources and lets people blow off steam. Savage has done well by helping those condemned Marines, and helping stop the Dubai ports deal and the Immigration Bill. Still, he's become too wishy washy. He flipped on Israel during the Lebanese/Israel War and all of a sudden befriends these black racists who call his show. When we're in times like these, we need reliability and strength. Savage has a good show but he can't lead a mass movement and talk radio will never step up to the plate for what needs to be done. CBS/ABC and other news outlets can pull any of these guys at any time and they all know they will be out on their ass like Ken Hamblin if they say anything about Muslims.

I have a feeling only mass civil disobedience will be the answer.

Even Michael Weiner Savage has completely cut off all ties with Buchanus due to buchans's nazi activity. I think that we need to look into Palin further.
