Jewish joke: not funny but unfortunately true.
« on: November 17, 2008, 10:54:23 PM »
I heard a joke which I think best describes the weak, pathetic, ghetto mentality of the Jewish Left:

Two Jews are in front of a firing squad awaiting their execution.  As they stand there, the leader of the firing squad asks them:

"Do either of you have any last requests?"

The first Jew says:

"Could I have a blindfold please?"

The second Jew turns to him and whispers:

"Don't make trouble."

It's not supposed to be funny.  There is nothing funny about ghetto minded Jews.  I didn't post this for laughs.

So why put Jewish joke then?

What would you have called it?  I wasn't particularly happy with how I titled this thread, I admit.

I agree Zachor.  It's a joke, but obviously not funny, since that ghetto mentality applies to so many Jews today.

I had a feeling i'd have heard this one before I read it.

I heard it from Bernard Manning.  He made really spot on sensitive jokes about jews.. But his jokes about blacks and others were really offensive.

Actually his form of the joke had the request as "Can I stand on the other side of the wall"

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities

I'd never heard this joke before but I do think it's clever and poignant.  It really captures the "weak, pathetic, ghetto mentality of the Jewish Left" as Zachor said.  This is a good one to tell to any self-hating Jew, though they might not get it.

I think it's a bit too sad.  Bernard manning's version is better, and very funny, and still gets the message across.

it helps if the joke told right, timed right

It might not be funny but it satirizes the kapos perfectly!

Thanks, zachor.

You are right.

I wrote that immediately after reading Chaim's thread about "Peace Now." I wanted to ask him a question in "Ask JTF" about whether or not it's wrong to have more hatred in my heart for kapos than anyone else, but for some reason I couldn't post it.

Thank you for pointing it out and for your understanding.
