at least he had the courage to put up a post. Maybe he Will use this as a means to learn about the negative aspects of his culture. Like others have said here, it is not a genetic issue, but one of a cultural imperative. Let him get his feet wet here and lets just see what happens.

Like everything else... its half nature half nurture. But focusing on the 'nature' is sorta pointless.

Anytime that you focus on only one aspect of a situation and ignore the other aspects you cant get a valid outcome.

It's not "nature". There have been some intelligent blacks throughout history, such as Eli Whitney (whose cotton gin actually prolonged the institution of slavery, haha), Alan Keyes, and Dr. Thomas Sowell. The problem is that the vast majority either live in a far too primitive culture to know that anything greater is possible (i.e. those in Africa) or deliberately choose primitivity even when in an advanced culture (American blacks).
