What is the best movies have you seen?

dawntreader:
Ok, I do have to admit that Munich did deliver a very wishy washy message.

It DID make it seem as though the revenge against the PLO murderers was deemed "not worth it" by the main character in the end.

And while I don't mind the fact that Spielberg gave emotion and allowed the PLO guys to give their reasons for their treacherous murdering...I still feel like Spielberg should not have allowed any sort of "moral equivalencies" between the PLO and the murdered victims to be seen. Or even any equivalencies between the PLO and the Mossad agents sent to kill the murderers.

I think Spielberg did make a bad mistake in doing this.

However, I know he is a Orthodox Jew, and I know most of his films are not like that. I thought Schindler's List was excellent as well as Saving Private Ryan.

kahaneloyalist:
Dawn, spielberg is not orthodox, his mother is. He is totally non-observant and a self-hating Jew to boot. He enlisted Tony Kushner, a homosexual militant anti-Zionist Pro-Muslim jew to write the script. The whole point of the movie was how terrible it was that Jews were oppressing the poor Fakestinian Arabs and how its better to live in the Galut.

Also the metaphors which were in every scene were very annoying.

dawntreader:
Hmmmm....

I have to admit I didn't know that about the scriptwriter.
