actually, hooters food is disgusting and really bad for you.. BUt then again, so is Duggies on the upper west side of manhattan. What Kosher Jews need are healthy unfried food organic food type restaurants...

I will tell you the truth, I am Jewish but not religous so this doesn't bother me much. Israel should be a country in which Jews who choose to be religous should be able to do that without the Arab Nazi threat and Jews who want to remain unreligous shoud be free to do that as well. I would absolutely object to the hooters being anywhere other than the beach area in tel aviv where all the hotels are. That should be the only place it is allowed. Lets not forget that Israel already has a ton of legal whorehouses, I was shocked to see them while near the old central bus station in tel aviv so lets not get too crazy about this.

  I may be out of place here, but I can strongly see DownwithIslam's point.  I feel and think very strongly about all aspects of Israel, and that includes the importance of tourism and resorts.  Personally, I would not even go to Hooters in Israel; I don't go to the one that is close to me.  But tourists sometimes just want to go somewhere familiar in a strangeplace.    I would rather go to a local food store around the block than go to fast food or a cheesy theme restaurant,   but that's just me.  Hey, I could be wrong and probably am.

You make a very good point however what is your opinion of your daughter working at such a place, or even the places I had mentioned earlier?  I don't mean this to be insulting in any way, I am just trying to make a point.  One does not have to be a "black hatter" Jew but would it not be better for Jews to just try to be Jewish rather than Hellenists?  I'm sorry I guess I just look at the downside of such things...

I realize my argument is weak, and what you write makes much more sense...  I guess what is really going on in my head is that one day I would like to visit Israel and enjoy the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea, and of course the Dead Sea.  This has little to do with Hooters, but women should be allowed to wear bathing suits on the beach.  I sometimes get the view that some Jews want everything in Israel to be so serious that the fun aspects would get pushed aside.  I really hope I am not insulting anybody by saying this.  I know that I am neither Israeli nor Jewish, and I have learned so much about Judaism but there is more to learn.

No not whatsoever.  Your posts are logical and all questions are good.  I, for one, wouldn't mind an Israel that would be comparable to pre-60's America.  You know a Conservative social structure and an economy based on Free Enterprise Capitalism.  This is why I feel that one doesn't have to be a Black Hatter but just try to have morals and practice what HaShem would like...  There is "Liberal" of the 1950's and there is filth of today....  I hope that is more acceptable....  It should be the individuals choice to be a devout and strictly Orthodox Jew but today I see it has gone far too wrong in that Jews, and even Gentiles, today learn very little of their faith and their former culture based on the Bible and Conservative /good family values that largely was responsible for the entire civilized world.   We have lost our moral compass and a Hooters in Tel Aviv is not quite as abominable as a Gay Parade in Jerusalem but it is not of good moral stature...

I agree trump.  I mean, I don't mind women wearing bikini's providing they are with taste and not walking around with their T & A flaunting about.  I find very little femininity in women today especially hate the male gender feminists.  Do women even know how to be feminine anymore?  I'd argue that they do not.  Most I have met have no desire to have families, be married and looking down on women who do chose to have children and a normal family as if it is comparable to colon cancer.  I believe it is the by product of the "Progressive" Educational system and our "Open Minded" mainstream degenerate crime, drug, sex filled media....

If Jewishness, Family Values and morality were something still taught in both the schools and the family the West would be a much better place I think.  Perhaps I'm old but looking at the world today I see it digressing not progressing in that we are working our way from Conservative, tolerant and highly productive society to Hellenistic morally, socially and economically bankrupt International Welfare State to total Cavemanism ruled by billionaire elitists.......  Just my opinion...

I read something recently that was actually written by a Catholic priest.  I can't remember where, but anyways, he wrote that women have to try harder to show their femininity by wearing less clothing.  His point was that modern day society takes what is important from women, which is motherhood and family, and discourages it.  Women could just be women by their pregnancies for example, and not have to differentiate from men by revealing clothing.  It was the wisest thing I heard from anybody Catholic in a long time.

I see what he is saying.  The tragedy I see it is that our youths today are sold on this bankrupt lie of Liberalism as being the "enlightening" factor of life.  Every ineptitude and politically guided agenda is sold, or "taught" to us as "fact" which nobody questions.  Today there are so many kids with kids, STD's, Aids, moral degeneracy etc. in that those who should be having kids don't or cannot afford to because of Socialism's piss poor economics and those who shouldn't are still pumping out kids like loafs of bread with multiple partners at our expense.  Today, as the Catholic Priest so rightly stated, there is little difference between the men today and the women aside from the harlot/slothy dress...
