When I referred to Yes as symphonic above, I did not just mean figuratively. Yes has played with a symphony orchestra on a live tour...

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities

One more Yes tune, then I'm 'outta here'...

Here is a symphonic rendition of Classic Yes, "Close to the Edge'...

Ezekiel 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the horn, and the people be not warned, and the sword do come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

We need to take back OUR country, than our military can win over seas! I'm sick of kissing the enemies ass!

Ok, so the Ari Lesser wasn't stellar (it perpetuates the so-called 2 state solution, which I personally believe is a fairy tail)...

Anyway, here is a band which I developed a liking for... Another progressive rock, synthesizer band called 'Ozric Tentacles'...

Apparently Ozric Tentacles doesn't subscribe to the BDS nonsense, here they are performing in Israel...

This song from the Israeli Heavy Metal band Amaseffer is very relevant this week to all Jews. The portion which we read on Shabbat this week is the first portion of Shemot/Exodus which contains the story of the burning bush (sneh),,,,

Hashem, Blessed is he, revealed his glory to Moses the first time in a vision of a bush burning but not being consumed... The sages teach us many incredible lessons from the burning bush...

This song is about our teacher, prophet, and redeemer Moses... Baby Moshe was saved from the evil decree of Pharoah to throw all the firstborn Hebrew male babies into the Nile.. He was placed in a small ark by his mother and his sister Miriam, and 'drawn from the water' by the daughter of Pharoah.

The Egyptians did not enslave us all at once, it was over a period of years that voluntary labor became forced labor. A lot can be learned from our Holy Torah concerning the phenomenon of 'Antisemitism' or Jew hatred. The Egyptians were one of the first nations to turn on the Jews. Remember from Genesis that Egypt was saved from a devastating famine by Joseph, son of Yaakov our patriarch. But when the Jews became too 'numerous' for the comfort of the Pharoah, he devised schemes to 'answer the Jewish problem' including genocide.

Moshe Rabbeinu (our teacher) was raised in the house of Pharoah, who at the time was the King of the super-power of its time. He was taught how to be a possible prince, heir to the Kingdom. Yet deep down Moshe was aware of his Jewish soul, it would not let him go because he desired to go out and share the labor and burden of the enslaved Hebrew people. This man was the prime example of a person with the trait of Empathy. It is also because he spent a lot of time as a sheppard in Midian when he fled Egypt that he had empathy for the downtrodden people.

Moshe was so concerned about the welfare of the Jewish people that he was inspired to kill an Egyptian taskmaster who was beating a Jew.

When Moshe fled Egypt he wandered in the desert till he came to Midian. It is in Midian where he met his wife Zipporah and father-in-law Yitro (Jethro)...

Yitro was a 'high priest' of idolatry who came to realize the error of his ways. With the help of Moshe and the G-d of Israel he was able to see the 'hand of G-d' in the events which unfolded regarding the Exodus of the Jewish people from Mitzrayim... Jethro is a prime example of a righteous convert to Judaism...

Here is another great Guy Tzvi Mintz video..

Lev tahor b'ra li Elohim, vruach nachon chadesh b'kirbi-Al tashlicheni mi'lfanecha, v'ruach kodshecha al tikach mimeni.

Translation:
God has given me a pure heart, and His holy spirit He has placed within me, do not cast me away from before you, and do not take your holy spirit from me.
