Border Patrol Report
« on: August 02, 2007, 09:05:16 AM »
Connie is from Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, (MCDC).

On The Border - Connie's Perspective

Last week I received a copy of the "USBP Weekly  Incident Recap.  July 15 through July 21, 2007 and covers all states where Border Patrol is active on both borders.  The document is several pages long.  After reading it I thought you might like to know the information contained within.

Drug Seizures:

Marijuana       28,598 lbs      value      21,604,364.00
Cocaine                 90 lbs    value        2,938,490.00
Heroin              1.86 lbs           value          148,800.00

One SKS rifle

Numerous vehicles to include 5 tractor trailers, with drugs hidden within produce and other items.

They also arrested many suspects involved with drug seizures.

Arrests that the Border Patrol consider significant were as follows:

A Salvadoran national with ties to the 18th Street Gange

A Mexican national previously deported after a sex crime conviction

A Mexican national who admitted to being a member of MS 13 Street Gang

A Honduran national who admitted to being a member of MS 13 Street Gang

A Mexican national who had an active warrant from Shenandoah County, Virginia for Conspiring to Distribute Meth

A Mexican national who had an Interpol Warrant for homicide in Mexico

A Mexican national convicted of a sex offense with a child under 12 years of age

Border Patrol had numerous rescues mainly in the Arizona desert.

There were numerous assaults on Border Patrol agents with rocks.

So that complies the list for one week.

This goes on week after week, year after year.  Keep in mind these are the seizures and arrests and there are no statistics on what and who really gets through.

Most of the apprehensions of course were on the southern border, but there was one in Washington State and another in New York.

Border Patrol estimated at one time, they apprehended one in four individuals.  I do not have information on drugs, but I believe Border Patrol really has no idea of what is getting by them.  It would be an impossible task to figure it out.

Securing the border has a lot more to do with protecting our children from poisoning of drugs than terrorists walking across.  Drugs are now plentiful and cheap due to the amounts coming in from Mexico as is labor.

If you still do not believe this is a war, you are either not listening or really don't care what happens to our children.

Join us on the border this year for Operation Secure America.

I am going to try to get these statistics on a regular basis as this information needs to be in the face of the public.

May God bless you all,

Connie

Sadly this fact does not disturb enough of the American people.

You're (sadly) right, cjd. If the mall closes or the 'Big Game' is cancelled there'll be hell to pay!
