But now the Rabbinate want to oust Riskin as Chief Rabbi of Efrat now that he has reached 75, apparently for supporting women rabbis and for endangering their conversion monopoly

I don't like Rabbi Riskin... But I have respect for the title. Whatever happens will happen... I don't know enough about the situation to comment but I will avoid denigrating the rabbi.

Has Chaim expressed an opinion yet as to whether Riskin should be allowed to continue in his position ar CR of Efrat, or possibly to be displaced by a Shasnik, or is Chaim, once acritic of Riskin, now utterly indiffernt?

I don't think Chaim changed his opinion of Stevie Wonder at all.
FYI,I know of a case in a neighboring yishuv that a woman was having affair & Stevie Wonder (AKA Riskin). advised the this married woman with quite a few kids to divorce her husband & marry the guy that she was fooling around with.
Her ex-husband is a pillar of the community & everybody in that community including it's rav support him & NOT the ex-wife or Stevie Wonder!!!!

I like to think of R.Kahane in Heaven getting pleasure seeing his foes belatedly brought to book whilst still in this world! Olmert was one. Riskin is next. The list is long, maybe even endless! Nadia Matar of "Women in Green" is known to physically revile Riskin.
