They still think that Jews have horns on their heads down in Virginia,
The Jewish community was forced to hire armed security for first time.https://jtf.org/charlottesville-police-refused-to-protect-synagogue-from-nazis/
I was in a gas station down south & the red neck attendant asked me why are you wearing that beanie on your head?To which I replied it is called a yarmukla, kapel or kipa & I am Jewish it is to cover my horns!!!(True story)
Did they really believe it? P.S.I think this has something to do with Catholic believes.
In the end of The Book of Exodus, it says Moses was radiant and had to cover his face. The same word used for radiant can also mean horns. This might be were it came from. They probably used it in art and then it became a stereotype for Jews.
*West VirginiaI stand corrected, pretty much in the farthest backwoods you can find. Where UFOs and Bigfoot roam. In those places, they believe that
Yes. That is correct. We think a Jewish man wears a yarmulke to cover his horns. All Catholics believe this.
