That is why you can't continue them forever and they are ending. The lockdown did its job, but the govt did not. A system of screening, testing, tracing, and isolation has not been built in any states while we had the chance and so transmission of this virus is likely to increase in the future. A shame because the lockdown brought it in check in the worst hit places. All that will be for naught if we have no containment program to deal with the post-lockdown world.
