Arab Muslim Terrorist Stabbing Attack in Petah Tikva; One Jew Wounded
Terrorist strikes near Petah Tikvah mall in day’s 3rd successive stabbing.
An Arab terrorist has injured at least one person in a knife attack on passersby outside Petah Tikvah’s central mall close to Beilinson Hospital, in the third stabbing attack in a single day Wednesday.
The attacker reportedly drew his knife and ran towards a crowd of civilians as he and his victim left the city’s #1 bus, and succeeded in stabbing at least one of them before security guards opened fire in his direction, and succeeded in overpowering him.
Witnesses said that the terrorist had been shouting ‘Allahu Akhbar.’
The terrorist has been identified as a 35-year-old Arab man from Hevron in Judea. He has been taken in for interrogation.
United Hatzalah paramedics said they provided first aid to a 25-year-old man with stab wounds to his upper body, and evacuated him to the nearby hospital.
Paramedics told Arutz Sheva the victim was hospitalized with light injuries and was fully conscious.
“When I got to the scene I came across a young haredi man who had been stabbed in his upper body close to the bus stop next to the mall; he was in light condition,” United Hatzalah paramedic Shmulik Berkovich told Arutz Sheva.
“Security forces acted quickly and prevented the attacker from harming other civilians,” he added.

The attack is the third successive stabbing carried out by Arab terrorists against Israelis Wednesday.
This morning, a female terrorist stabbed a Jewish man in the back in Jerusalem, before being shot and wounded by her victim.
In the early afternoon, an IDF soldier was moderately wounded when a terrorist stabbed him while stealing his weapon. The terrorist then hid in a nearby apartment and fired at police, who fired back and killed him.
