“Those who don’t want to live in a Jewish state can leave”
MK says proposal to provide economic incentives for Arabs to emigrate from Judea and Samaria will prevent a so-called “Palestinian” state.
The National Union party conference will be held this Tuesday, MK Bezalel Smotrich will present his plan to provide financial incentives to bolster Arab emigration from Israel.
MK Smotrich explained his plan in an interview with Arutz Sheva.
According to Smotrich, his plan is different from any other plan proposed by the right or the left because ” this is the only plan that does not want to leave an Arab collective with a desire to realize national aspirations here in the Land of Israel.”
“All the other plans, whether from Netanyahu or others, are based on autonomy or other words which mean a ‘state-minus.’ As long as we leave an Arab collective with national aspirations here, we are guaranteeing the continuation of the conflict and terrorist violence for another 100 years,” he said.
He said that the Palestinian Authority is “not prepared to accept the only demand that Netanyahu poses to them, recognizing Israel as a Jewish state, because all their legitimacy as a national movement is in the negation the existence of Israel. There was never a Palestinian state. This body was established by the Mufti to oppose the Zionist movement. It’s entire purpose is to deny another national movement. Of course it can’t make peace with that national movement.”
Smotrich mentioned Israel’s numerous sacrifices for peace and peace offers, all of which were rejected by the other side. He said that after nearly a century of conflict, the only choices that remain are bloodshed or his proposal.
He said that Israel must apply sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, establish more towns and cities in the ancient Jewish heartland, and supply jobs to the Jewish and Arab residents who agree to live an a Jewish state so that no one would be able to suggest that it is possible for Israel to abandon Judea and Samaria.
“The Arabs will have to decide who is willing to accept Jewish rule and accept all the democratic rights, except for the right to vote in the Knesset. They will be welcome.
“Those who can’t live with this can try their luck in another country. We will aid them with a large program to encourage emigration. And the third option is for those who think they can remain here and continue to undermine our very existence and our Jewish identity. They will meet a determined IDF.
“This is the only way to achieve peace and coexistence, which is a vision that both the left and the right have given up on and instead speak of separation, which means the continuation of living by the sword. Threats cannot be pushed behind fences. The ability to achieve peace will only come when the Arabs abandon their national aspirations.
