Thanks for all your suggestions, guys. I am looking to rent an apartment.
New Yorker and DWI, do you know how much studios and 1 bedrooms go for in FH?
Forest Hills is very nice, but some parts of it off of Queens Blvd. look awfully quiet in the evenings. Is Forest Hills a place where you can get around without a car?
Yacov, I was born in Kew Gardens. I remember there being one subway on Queens Blvd., but other parts of it being kind of suburban, and far from the trains.
Ari, I am familiar with Bayside, Douglaston and Little Neck, as they are very close to Great Neck, where I grew up. As far as I can tell, Douglaston is very suburban with not many apartment buildings. From what I see, I would need a car to get around.
Bayside is nice, especially Bell Blvd. But it seems to me that I would need a car to get around the rest of the place. However, if I am mistaken, please let me know. Also, are there young single people who live there? Or is it just families?
And Little Neck seems to be quite suburban. Besides which, it's a little too close to Great Neck.
Scriabin, I recently visited Sunnyside, and it seems OK.
Italian Zionist, I'll PM you with my questions.
Mord, I am looking to spend $1,400 at the most per month on rent.
Thanks again, everyone.
