Thompson really was a sad excuse for a candidate.  I know we are all having a good laugh at his expense, but the truth is the truth.  I remember Chaim asking on a past show how it baffled him that a man running for president could show no excitement.

Geez, why so harsh? I thought both Thompson and Lieberman gave decent speeches.  The constant trashing of virtually everyone gets tiresome on JTF forums.

Exactly, which is why he had zero business running as a Republican this spring. His vote-splitting of the conservative wing of the party caused Huckabee to lose and McCain to win.

    These were better speeches by Fred Thompson and Joe Lieberman than I was anticipating.    All things considered,   I think the McCain campaign had a successful Tuesday Night at the RNC.    Hopefully,   the next two nights will prove successful for the McCain/ Palin team.
