I don't know how you feel about this idea,... buying Israel lotterytickets.
I been buying tickets for the past year,  maybe I'll win and for sure give back.
As for now(before a win ) I am still supporting Israel.

Not to mention that gambling is a very stupid behavior that no Jew or righteous Gentile should partake in.

I am not convinced that anyone wins the lottery, at least here in California. It is a monumental scam.

Someone else bought me a TX lottery ticket and I won $2.00! 

I wouldn't have bought it for myself though. I think the lottery is a tax on the poor.

Although if you buy a lottery ticket (is that what they are called?) with the sole purpose of a donation, then that is a different matter.  (Although in which case, why not just donate straight to the cause you would like to support?)

Well.. I can see that the idea of gambling turns some people off.. but I had no clue Chaim Ben Pesach would respond THE WAY HE DID
