Yes, but they are culturally European, and very much Christian and not Muslim.
Race does not have clearly defined borders. Their ethno-culture has defined them and they have a right to consider themselves to be a people after years of resistance against Islam.
Malta's Jewish community has lived in safety on Malta for donkey's years and they still do. The Maltese fought the Nazis. The political alternative for Malta was Italianate fascism, and there were some fascists on the Island, who were locked up for the duration of WWII.
Maltese has a Latinate syntax with Arabised vocabulary.
The Maltese probably define themselves through religion and culture, not race, but religion is now being used against them through the Jesuit networks on the Island.
This is why Viva Malta has sprung up. There is also a pro-Christian national movement on the Island, ANR.
I do not know how you can call the very Christian Maltese a 'bastard race' when they have followed their religion longer than anyone else in Europe, and it is this which has culturally defined them.
I do not want you to take serious offence at what I am saying, but I think that your posts on this matter are too hateful to be productive.
There are anti-Semites who say similar things about the Jewish people, and I think that you are wrong to mock the Maltese in this way. They are a people.
I think that VivaMalta have an ideological problem with anti-Semitism, but that does not justify what you have said about the Maltese people.
