I don't want to be the party pooper but is this thread even productive? I know we all have a lot of rage and anger {me included} but I don't see how saying she is scarey and ugly will really help our cause.

I am very upset and angry lately and I am looking for ways to make things better. Namecalling and appealing to base emotions is not productive {IMHO}. We must be able to write effectively in order to change the public opinion. When I went to school I learned how to write persuasive essays. The way to do this is to present the facts and explain them in a way that most people will understand.

It may feel good to make fun of our enemy, and at times I say things to disparage our enemy, but does it accomplish the goal of making changes which benefit us? Sometimes I feel motivated to yell and scream at the facts but refrain from doing so because it will reflect badly on me.

I would like to see every JTF member learning how to persuade readers to understand our side.

I think most of us are just frustrated because we have no way to remove Obama from office until his first term is over. I would hope these kind of threads help with some of the tension and for that reason I think a few threads like this are ok. However you're right that other than that it doesn't really do much.

muman years back JTF had local shows here in N.Y.C. that spoke very plainly on race issues. JTF built up quite a following that sustained it for years. I understand what you are saying but the fact of the matter is people like when the cards are laid on the table. That goes for issues here in America and also issues over in Israel. Some time ago we had a thread going called JB's ask the ape. The thread contained some of the most stereotypical racial content but it gained over 20,000 page views during its existence. The thread was pushed on by myself , JB  and a few other members it ran about two thousand posts. MY point is that in order to have 20,000 + page views people had to be coming from outside the forum to view the thread. The purpose of the thread was to do just that and get new people into the forum. Tell me what sort of thread we have had lately that has had 20,000 page views?
