I believe that Huckabee supports Israel because he believes in G-d and in the Bible. That is the best reason to support Israel.

Whether Huckabee is tough or not, I believe that he would not pressure Israel to surrender Jewish land and that he would not pressure Israel not to attack Iran's nuclear bomb-making program. So for four years, Jews would not have to worry about American pressure.

Some of our members are concerned that Huckabee was not a real conservative when he was governor of Arkansas. I agree with that. Huckabee raised taxes and increased spending and freed convicted murderers - obviously I strongly oppose these types of policies.

But sadly, the other candidates are no better.

Sarah Palin, whom I like, has said that she favors legalizing illegal aliens. And she supported the Bush socialist stimulus package, which was a big ripoff of the taxpayers.

Mitt Romney was an outright leftist when he ran for office in Massachusetts. He supported abortion with gusto, went to a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood, and promised the homosexuals that he would fight for them more vigorously than Ted Kennedy. Romney also endorsed the concept of legalizing illegal aliens.

None of the candidates are real conservatives. It's sad but true.

However, Huckabee's pro-Israel stance would bring G-d's blessings to America.

And Huckabee also has the best position on energy issues, which is essential for defeating Islam. Huckabee advocated creating a crash program to achieve complete energy independence in 10 years. Huckabee spoke about the need to get us away from oil - which if implemented, would cripple the Muslims.

Huckabee is strongly pro-life, strongly pro-Second Amendment and supported South Carolina retaining the Confederate flag.

Huckabee was also the only major presidential candidate who advocated abolishing the national income tax - which would be great if we could get Congress to go along.

This may sound to much like a conspiracy though I think there were a lot of leftists crossing over during the primaries and voting for McShame.  Meaning Huckabee could have won the republican nomination.  There is also the possibility the voting booths were rigged for him to.

AsheDina, Bachmann, is probably the most hated woman in the media, next to Palin, which makes her fine in my book.   This is a great article on Bachmann. http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=106941  She is another one that I would pull for, another strong Christian, who I believes knows her Bible really.  There is hope for the future.  None of them are perfect, but without question, better than anything that is currently in power.  My dogs could do better at this point by barking and doing nothing.

AsheDina, Masterwolf,   and cynthia,       back on the April 5,  2009  Ask JTF program,     I asked Chaim his opinion about Michele Bachmann:

http://jtf.org/forum_english/index.php/topic,33454.msg340031.html#msg340031

While I still support and respect Michele Bachmann on some issues,     Chaim expressed very legitimate criticism of Michele Bachmann regarding the ultra important ENERGY issue.

My question and Chaim's answer begins right around the 1:16:00 mark of the program:

Here is a great interview of Mike Huckabee from Arutz Sheva. He discusses his experiences while exploring the land of Israel. Check it out, it is a pretty solid interview.

Chaim,    a few weeks ago,    Sarah Palin made the following statement on her Twitter Account:

http://www.conservatives4palin.com/2009/07/palin-tweets-on-drivers-licenses-for.html

Rep.Lynn's good HB3 Visa/Drivers Lic law:"If u dont have legal right to walk down AKn street, why should u have right to drive same street?"

...

At the above link,   there's additional commentary and info that you and many of the JTF members might find interesting.

Because Sarah Palin had restrictions imposed on her by John McCain and key staff members during the Presidential campaign,    I'm optimistic that she will have a much more Conservative position on this issue if she elects to run for President.     Her Twitter statement last month offers hope.

I just saw on Fox on a tag line running by, that Huckabee said today that the Palestinians need to find someplace else to live, basically.  LOL  He is said it was "unrealistic" for them to reside there and have their own country next to Israel.  Okay, where is that island now???  Celebrities buy them all the time, surely the wonderful UN can cough up the money to move the lot of them, yes?  I mean, it would be for world peace, right?   ;D

My pleasure,   cynthia and Masterwolf.

Masterwolf,    I completely agree with you regarding the treatment of Sarah Palin by the media.     Imagine if the media spent even 1/50th of time and effort with investigations on Barack Hussein Obama as they have done with Sarah Palin.       If they did,    Obama never would have even "  won"    the "  Democrat"  party nomination last year,   let alone the general election.

I was thrilled to see Sarah Palin speak out against Obamacare,    calling the bill evil,    and mentioning that there are death panels.      Sarah Palin made these comments before any other elected or former elected official did.       She was ripped to pieces by a large % of the media and the left in general.     Yet,   Sarah Palin was willing to deal with the criticism because it meant that the people of the United States would hear the truth.      This is the type of leadership that is desperately needed.      Sarah Palin has been proven correct regarding the Death Panels.

cynthia,     if Mike Huckabee remains firm with his position if he's elected President of the USA,    it would certainly be terrific news for both Israel and the USA.     While I like what I'm hearing from Huckabee about Israel this week,    the key would be how Huckabee would respond when he's the # 1 decision maker for the USA.       Because Huckabee has a compassion streak for those who don't deserve compassion,     I'm taking a wait and see approach with Huckabee.      Having said that,    if he wins the Republican Nomination,    of course I plan to support him.
