I know we've had threads about this before, but I just turned on the Television and found out that Michael Jackson had a son named blanket. They tried to show blanket's mourning as something serious. Maybe we are overdue for another thread about ebonic names.

I spoke to one black guy whose name was supposed to be Johann. His parents were so stupid, they spelled it "Yohan".

   I knew a black with one of these made up names. What was interesting was that his parents named two of his brothers with Jewish names just by pure chance.

The names they give to their illegitimate children are indeed funny. Here is a video that has the top 60 names. Even though most of the names are fake in this video some are real.



Also I do not know why they have to add two letters before a name. A kid across the street from my house got killed by a drunk driver. But the driver didn't do time because he wasn't really drunk. 
So know they named the street Vesean way. And the womens lawyer was that pig sanford rubenstein al sharptons side kick.

A neighbor who is not prone to exaggeration claims this one from the license branch:  The staffer was barking out names from the waiting list, and at the end came this one:  "?$hit-head?"

A person of color bounced to the desk, "That be Shuh-Thade!!"

My neighbor has told that story about five times in my presence, and it's the same every time, so I can only assume that it's true.  I'm glad that I wasn't there, because I would have busted a gut laughing.

Placentia is a city around here, as you know, Brian. It is some Spanish word. I believe Placencia is a Spanish surname.

Oh ok You're right I'm sure they would have backed away from it really quickly. There've been a lot of black guys named Omar for some reason. I think that's an Arabic name right?
