Ask JTF for February 21, 2010
« on: February 13, 2010, 05:33:06 PM »
Dear Chaim, I have several questions about longevity.

1. Why is Russia's life expectancy lower than that of most other European countries? I'm assuming that's probably because of Russia's high alcoholism rate.

2. Is it true that AIDS has contributed to the low life expectancy in Africa? But I think even without AIDS, I would imagine life expectancy in Africa would be much lower than in the Western world.

3. You already told me people in Japan have a higher life expectancy than people in America due to the fact that they eat a lot of fish. What other foods do they eat? I know they eat a lot of soy foods including tofu.

4. Why do women outlive men?

5. And last but not least, are you aware of this story of Jeanne Calment who was the oldest person that ever lived who died at the age of 122? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeanne_Calment

Dear Chaim,

On Hebrew forums and other websites, people often write things like "גמני" instead of "גם אני" or "בצפר" instead of "בית ספר." What is your opinion on that? Since Hebrew is a holy language, should people always try to use the correct spellings?

Dear Chaim

How long do you think it would take Africa to die out, if every White and Jewish person left the whole lot of Africa to deal with it's own problems? Average say 100 years?

Can you name the current top 5 most evil nations that haven't been infected with Blacks or Muslims?

Why did The Jewish people have to search the desert for 40 years for a homeland?

Gd Bless you, your loved ones, your family, all The Jews around the world and Israel.

Greetings Chaim. Do you have any stories you can share about when you were teaching "people" to read in prison? You said it was a joke so it must have been very frustrating.

Shalom Chaim,

Two more questions for you as Neo-Nubian History Month winds down.

1: As we all know, millions of moronic American schvartzes identify with Muslims even if they don't know the least thing about Islam. Can you share a hilarious African Action Story about a stupid negro who professed Islam but was utterly clueless about devil-worship?

2: Please expose the flaming faggot singer Prince Rogers Nelson (aka "the artist formerly known as Prince"). While it (because Prince is clearly neither male nor female) is undeniably talented, it has devoted its entire life (and made tens of millions of dollars in the process) to making hideous and obscene queer music. As far as I am concerned, Prince is little more than a clone of Michael Fagson. Please talk about and denounce this nauseating homosexual.

Pardon me for the following question:  Is masturbation a sin of Man against Gd or Man against another human being?  It seems to me that when Onen did what he did, it was a sin of man against another human being.

Thank you

It addition Hezbollah has fully rearmed along the Lebanese Border, and Syria is rumored to also have thousands of rockets ready to fire on Israel. It has also been reported that Hezbollah has troops ready to cross the Israeli border and seize towns.

We all know that Israel could easily defeat Hezbollah if it uses its full conventional military strength without being concerned about so-called "civilian" causalities on the enemy's side. However we know from past conflicts Israel always bows down to international pressure and fights blindfolded with both hands tied behind its back. For these reasons it appears that Israel is in for a serious blow that could result in the enemy actually seizing current Israeli controlled territory.

Taking all this into account are you 100% sure that this is the final redemption and that the Jewish nation will not be expelled from the Eretz Yisrael again?

Medinat Yisrael has disgraced the land Hashem has given us with its secular degenerate policies, so it seems to make sense that Hashem will punish the Jews once again for our insolence. Even though there are many good Jews in Israel such as the Hilltop settlers they are the minority, and history has shown that the minority who are righteous are not enough to save the majority of Jews from the punishment that awaits them for their continued sinful behavior.

Dear Chaim,

Have you ever read Sun Tzu's "Art of War"?  It is one of my favorite books, and I think in some ways it is the one of the best texts available to fighting the Koran's minions.  "The Art of War" is also applicable to business, and other competitive challenges. - The Talmud says, "if your enemy seeks to slay you, rise first and slay your enemy." - I think the "Art of War" provides some useful thought in the "rising first, and slaying first" philosophy and concrete tactics to employ.  If you have read the book, what do you think of it?

What are some of your favorite secular books?  When you were in prison did you read a lot?

What makes Kosher salt Kosher; what is the difference between Kosher salt and regular table salt [aside from appeance]?

Why are there so many Kosher rules around wine?  Wine is sort of like glorified juice.  Are there as many rules around juice that is Kosher?

My Righteous Gentile friend almost bought me a Judaica "snuff container" for tobacco snuff.  She read it's a popular activity on Shabbat to "enhance" the joy of studying Torah...  I had never heard of such a thing, I hardly know what snuff is...  pulverized tobacco?  Have you heard of Jews "snuffing it up" on Shabbat?  I know tobacco is popular, but flame is not allowed on Shabbat... perhaps this is why snuff may be popular?

Have you been following Lt. Col. Allen West, and his quest for a seat in Congress?  He seems to be one sharp and astute gentleman.  And he is a self-made man.  I do not know too much about him, but I see eye to eye with him on some key issues... Islam and traditional American Conservatism stick out prominently.

Shalom Chaim,

On last week's Ask JTF, you said that the vast majority of rabbis see the story in the Torah about the serpent in the Garden of Eden as symbolic.  If this is true, do you know what this part is symbolizing?

Genesis 3:14-15
14 So the LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this,
"Cursed are you above all the livestock
       and all the wild animals!
You will crawl on your belly
       and you will eat dust
all the days of your life.

15 And I will put enmity
       between you and the woman,
       and between your offspring and hers;
       he will crush your head,
and you will strike his heel."

Thanks in advance.

Respectfully,

Dan Ben Noah

Dear Chaim,

Hope your week was a good one!

Here are my questions for the week:

1) When was the Talmud written? And how was it decided that such an additional commentary was needed as a supplement to the original scriptures?
2) Over what span of years was the commentary compiled?
3) How was it determined who could or was qualified to add commentary?   How did they know when they could stop adding additional commentary?

A quick follow up to my last week's comment involving nurse, 'Courtney,' who was speaking full fledged ebonics at work. A few days later, I saw her mingling with a very troubled, lazy and rude clerk,  Ms. Shanequa Jones.  Both were speaking wildly and loudly in front of patients, when Courtney erupted, "gurrrll, you know he be my man, shaking her hips wildly, then rolling her eyes, saying 'damn, no you didn't gurrlll, no you didn't (LOUD laughter)."

I thought it was time to act, as the patients were looking at her in fear, with a needle in hand (dangerous) like she was a madwoman.  As many of us have had problems with Ms. Shanequa, I decided that I would try my best with a not totally lost cause, Courtney.  When I saw her, I said kindly, gently, in my best Ebonics, "Courtney, why when u be with Lonquisha, you be speaking like dis', but when you be with me n' wit da patients, (switching to proper English) you seem completely capable of speaking normally?"

You know in addition to trying to heal the sick, I think it is important to perform other public services as the day permits.  Just a thought.

Shaloooom Borther Chaim,

As you know, I have a Shall we say, a disagreement with deform temples and conservative "synagogues"
My best defense against these cults is that the children do not go and they are dying congregations.

However, it is brought to my attention that the conservative bnai jeshurun in New York City  has many many young followers. To add to that many congregations in NYC such as the Yong Israel, the mean age there is 45-50 , even with me being there.

I think maybe  Judaism is just dying here in America.  This needs to be addressed weather or not you agree. The Rabbis of today do not bring up relative issues like Kahane did such as moving to Israel and the mussie situation. The other week, the Parasha of the ten commandments would have been ideal for my Rabbi to bring this topic up.( by the way I'm not the only one in Jewish congregations that is fed up with this, just the only one that speaks out to the other conragants) I was hoping for the Rabbi to bring it up, but of course didn't.

Please Chaim give us you thoughts and what you think we should do. I feel the congregations need to pressure the Rabbis to talk about more realistic and relative Jewish issues like Kahane did. With a strong organized groups like JTF
I know it can be done.
Shalom.

Dear Reb Chaim and all!

Sorry for my absence over the past year. I had and still have personal issues that I’m dealing with, as you know.

With your comments about it being a sin to live in the exile and outside Israel, many Chassidic and chareidi Jews disagree and quote from rabbainal scholars and Torah to the contrary.
It’s astounding.

I went on holiday and had the Shabbat seudot with some Satmar Chassidim and they were mocking & putting down Rabbis like Rav Melamed and Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu shilita and Chevron’s Rav Dov Lior when I told them I go according to them not the anti-Zionist rabbis.

They asked me who gave them semicha etc. and questioned their suitability. They were very disrespectful and disparaging to these gedolim. They argued emphatically that many rabbis live outside Israel – ‘great’ rabbanim and Torah sages and they quoted all over saying it is not a sin, and one must not say it’s a sin. I couldn’t argue much as I lack knowledge. One guest, from Belgium! – but a very scholarly Jew - said it’s disputable if it’s a mitzvah.

They told me I shouldn’t go to live in Israel, even as the family’s two sons live there. I at the table congratulated them for living there.

Thanks and I appreciate your support for me at this time,
Zev

Do you see a hypocrisy in the republican party?  For example: they complain about obama wants big government and to raise taxes (which is true), but republican politicians, as well as conservative media pundits did not argue against Bush's big gov't.  Bush gave bailouts as well as increased the role of Government and increased taxes as well.
another example:  Obama wants to give the underwear bomber a civilian trial ( which i believe should be a military tribunal), a lot of republicans are complaining about this, but where were they when Bush gave the shoe bomber a civilian trial?  If Obama is doing the wrong thing then bush is wrong for the same reasons.

Shalom chaim

I have to say I am following this story of the assassination of the Hamas leader with great interest.  I have no doubt the Mossad did it, afterall who else would go to the lengths they did to kill a Hamas official and who else would get passports of Brits, Germans, and Irish folks living in Israel.  This reminds me of the days of the Israel we used to admire even if it was led by secular socialists.  The Israelis who kidnapped Eichman from Argentina and did not give a damn who liked it or didn't (from what I have read Abba Eban was furious that they used his plane without his knowledge), the Israel that won the six day war, the Israel that redeemed its captives from Entebbe etc. etc.

Of course some self hating Jews are complaining but for once I am enjoying them complaining instead of us.  I think we need to give the devil his due and congratulate Nethanyahu on this.  That does not mean we will be any less against him for his actions against the Jews of Judea and Samaria but for one day we support his action.
We all need to pray for Barack Obama, may the Lord provide him a safe move back to Chicago in January 2,013.

Shalom Chaim,

It's now been over a year since the Israeli Elections.     Related to this,   my questions are as follows:

1)     How do you think the National Union Party with its representation of 4 members in the Knesset has performed?     Especially regarding the goals of JTF/ Hayamin. Org.

2)     What is your current realistic expectations in terms of the numbers of seats the National Union can gain the next time Israel has National elections?

3)     Have their been any other political parties in Israel within the last year that you can envision being strong allies towards JTF/  Hayamin. Org?

4)     Are there are specific people who have the realistic potential to be positive difference makers in the next Israeli government,   who we should be promoting on ZooTube and elsewhere?    Someone (s)  who can especially help aid in the objectives of JTF/  Hayamin.Org?

Thanks as always,   eb22.

Shalom Chaim,

Do true Torah Jews consider Christians to be Noahides? Christians generally believe in the Noahide laws, to create a system of government, not to steal, kill, commit sexual perversion, or commit idolatry. The last one, committing idolatry, seems to be in dispute among some Jews.

So in your opinion do Christians commit idolatry? If so does that mean Christians are not Noahides and do not have a place in the world to come?

Thanks,

Shalom Chaim and Thank you as always for your hard work and for answering my questions.

What is your opinion of Meir Dagan, the current head of the Mossad?

Do you believe that Judaism allows Jews to do some of the things that the Mossad has done, such as have their agents act like goyim in order to blend in and penetrate the enemy? For instance should Mossad agents be allowed to fornicate, eat pork, and even go to a church and commit idolatry to maintain an undercover identity?

Dear Chaim,

(1) The news media has been buzzing with talk about alleged Mossad agents who assassinated a Hammas chief in Dubai.  I'm wondering if you have any comments on this incident or further insights into it.

(2) I have often heard that this place or that place is the "3rd most holy site in Islam".  It got me thinking what the most holy sites in Judaism are.  I am not Jewish, so forgive my ignorance.  I assume the Temple Mount would be first.  Would the Cave of the Patriarchs be second?  What would come after this?  Mount Sinai?

Keep fighting the good fight!

Hopefully this question gets into the thread on time.

Chaim, I have read about the case of two Israeli soldiers that the arab nazis lynched in Ramallah after the soldiers were "arrested" for accidentally getting lost and driving into a 'judenrein' place.  This is the case of Vadim Novesche and Yosef Avrahami - Hashem yikom Damo - from October 2000.   The arab police chief apparently threw the bodies to the mob of arab-nazis that were rallied to the police station.   Some people claim that there were Arabs who ate the innards of the dead.   It is known fact that they mutilated the bodies like vicious animals and there are pictures of arabs holding organs.   Is it true that they also cannabilized them by eating the organs they ripped out?   I was wondering if you would speak about this case.

Here is how Novesche's brother described what he saw of his brother's remains in the coffin:  "At the hospital I asked that they open the coffin, and I saw what they did to him. Human beings can't do such a thing - only animals can. "

I am just curious if the animals also were cannibals, or if that just developed as a rumor.

Thanks.

hey chaim, some questions on our favourite bunch of people(?).....blacks.

1) Do you agree with quote from john wayne..

"I believe in white supremacy until blacks are educated to a point of responsibility. I don't believe in giving authority and positions of leadership and judgment to irresponsible people.... The academic community has developed certain tests that determine whether the blacks are sufficiently equipped scholastically.... I don't feel guilty about the fact that five or ten generations ago these people were slaves. Now I'm not condoning slavery. It's just a fact of life, like the kid who gets infantile paralysis and can't play football like the rest of us"

2) nelson mandella is idolised by the media, he recently had his anniversary of his release, can you tell me the truth about mandella.

3) Did you see the video clip of the 67 year old white guy who was racially attacked, but beat the hell   outof the monkey black that attacked him on the transit bus?if so what was your opinions of this event thats got literally millions of views?

Ill leave you with a ten second clip of russian fedor knocking out black african american in mixed martial arts in your own time..
