I accept your criticism of my thinking about the article.
I don't think we actually disagree -- it's more likely that I should have chosen better wording.
In short, I meant to express that it probably did happen, but that in the great scheme of things I don't consider such to truly qualify as "crimes".
I have read other pamphlets similar to these.
One in particular was an early Labor Zionist instruction pamphlet for grade school teachers, instructing them on 'how to prove that G-d doesn't exist' and 'how to teach young Jewish children that Torah and Judaism are superstitious nonsense'.
The truth is the truth, and such things are part of the history of The State of Israel.
In the pre-State days rival Jewish political factions used the same kind of tactics as the Mafia when dealing with each other:
Brutal beatings, kidnapping, and torture.
No doubt more than a few murders of Jews by Jews.
In real life, history is more chaotic and violent than books and movies would tend to portray it.
I recently read an interview with a native born sabra from pre-State days who was telling about how a young Ariel Sharon, who happened to be his neighbor, came to his mother's house accompanied by his goon squad friends, beat him senseless and then broke both of his arms.
Such were the "nice Jewish boys" fighting the British, the Arabs, and the Jews, all at the same time, in their quest to achieve political power.
