I don't really see why it was a big deal. The content of these verses did not speak to converting people to Christianity, it pertained to the sodomite takeover of the world.

I dont think that is in Debbie's agenda at all.  I have seen her comments here on the forum I think for about 4 years and I have never known her to say anything inappropriate to anyone. She is kind, polite, and a true lady.  She speaks from her experience.  I dont think she is trying to convert anyone.  I did see her comment about Christ on the cross and I do not believe for one second if this was explained to her in the context of this being a religious Jewish forum, that she would do this again.  People are human.  We need to try to be more tolerant of our friends.  This doesn't mean we have to agree with them, it does mean that the first approach, in my view, should be a gentle approach.

I have seen it several times... I would hope that non-Jews would be sensitive to religious Jews sensibilities when they post things about their faith. I don't mind that others believe different things, but I believe a problem starts when Jews are reading it and somehow think it is a Jewish idea (unless it is clearly explained to be Christian). I have stated that should a Jew be influenced to believe what are considered apikoris beliefs due to JTF then we are doing more damage than good...

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14

I understand that is your perspective, but quoting books which are not considered Holy as if they are in a forum where Jews read it can be considered placing a stumbling block before a blind man.... This is not meant as an offense against anyone, and there are many many places for Christians to post their faith on the internet.

Our ancestors refused money for saving Sodom and Gomorrah, and today we turn our cities into them for money.

I'll say this for you Muman: you do your homework.  With a few exceptions, Debbie is citing her beliefs and backing them up with her scripture. She is more thinking out and describing her own thought process than anything. I think enough has been said about this. We're all different, but united on the major issues regarding Israel and America. Picking each other to death is the wrong way to go I think
