It should be noted that many of the greatest Serbs in history are Montenegrins.  Also, Montenegro was Montenegro long before it became united country with Serbia.  And lastly, you don't have to worry about Albanians taking over Montenegro, worry about what's going on in Serbian Kosovo, if Turks couldn't take over Montenegro i doubt pigeons have a chance.  As far as living there, there are Catholic Albanians who helped fight Turks who have lived in Montenegro for hundreds of years and live in peace with the Montenegrins.  There is also some nazi turks and other nazis in the mix.  It's a very tolerant country, but don't get it twisted, Montenegrins still run it and if anything are even more anti-Turk then people in Serbia.

The greatest Serbian warrior Milos Obilic is Montenegrin.  As are many of today's powerful politicians in SERBIA... The greatest Serbian poet Njegos is Montenegrin.  If u wanna know how Montenegrins think, you have to read his work.   This is all undenyable and overall, in contrast to our numbers, we are very influential.

Even Slobodan Milosevic, Arkan and Radovan Karadžić are Montenegrin...

I consider myself a Serb even though i'm Montenegrin (i say Montenegrin Serb).  But people from Serbia really should be thanking the Montenegrin people for our contributions to their culture if anything and worry about Kosovo, not Montenegro.  We have survived a lot worse then finally getting to fully sperating from the remnants of TITOSLAVIA.  It's not an anti-Serb move but a move in the best interest of Montenegro as a state.  Do u think if Serbia went to war Montenegro would not support when half your politicians are Montenegrin and we're brothers? lol  I'm a Montenegrin and i would die for Serbia.

And yea, i put my life on the fact that those people in the pictures holdin up the Albo flag were not Montenegrin..

Hehemmm....

It should be noted that "montenegrins" are SERBS.

"Serb/ian" is the ETHNICAL NAME of our Race.
"montenegrin" is a toponymical name, in this case,
depicting the SERBS from the black mount.

"Sumadinac" (pronounce "shoomadinats") is a toponymical name
depicting the Serbs living in the WOOD/FORREST ("suma", "shooma") area of Serbia.

Still, "Sumadinci" (plural for "Sumadinac")
("Shoomadintsi", the Ones who live in the "Shooma"/forrest)
are ETHNICAL SERBIANS.

One People: the Serbs.

Many Regions: One Country: Serbia.

All Montenegrins are Serbs, but all Serbs are not Montenegrins.  There is no reason for Serbs from Serbia to resent Montenegrin Serbs, we have only helped Serbia throughout our history.  Our bond is more religious and historical then racial.  All people in that region are Slavs.  Slavic is a race, Serbian and Montenegrin is a nationality.

It's the same difference between SICILIANS and the rest of ITALY.  Every Sicilian is Italian, but every Italian is NOT Sicilian.  The only difference is Sicily was never a indiependant kingdom/state like Montenegro.

Of course NOT ALL Serbs are "montenegrins",
neither are they ALL "Sumadinci", nor "Vojvodjani".

"Serbia Serbs" do not "resent" "montenegrin Serbs",
they "resent" montenegrin NON-Serbs.

Serbian is a Race, "montenegrin" is a toponym.

Any "bond" between Serbs is RACIAL.

What about the Muslims in Serbia?  I think being a Serb is more religious then racial any way u look at it, just as being a Jew is more religious then racial...  We are all descendants of slavic tribes who came to the Balkans in the 5th and 6th century.

And you can't compare Montenegro to Vojvodina or any of othose other places.  I don't remember there ever being a KING OF VOJVODINA.  Only Serbian and Montenegrin kings.  Vojvodina also doesn't have a culture different from the rest of Serbia, Montenegro does.. just look at the family system!  That's not something new...  People from Serbia need to worry about 1. Serbia 2. Kosovo 3. Republika Srpska NOT Crna Gora!!!

Anyways, i'm sick of defending Montenegro considering i proudly sport the Serbian flag in my house but i have to tell you, this kind of anti-Montenegrin sentiment is the reason they broke up to begin with.  A lot of Serbs want Montenegrins to be equal to them - as long as that means they are just Serbs and NOT Montenegrins..  That doesn't fly, because we are always going to preserve what makes us Montenegrin!  Therefore, the minor difference between the Serbs and Montenegrins is not racial, its not religious, but cultural and political.  To deny our history as Montenegrins is............  not possible!

"I make and pronounce my nephew Rade Tomov Perović my heir, governor and guardian of everything mine and Church's, who I hope shall be a man of work and wisdom, as much as blessed Heavenly Father wished to grant him with, and whom to G-d, our Emperor and to Montenegrins and Highlanders I recommend with all my heart and soul."

JR-Obilic in black,
Husar in hellish red:

"What about the Muslims in Serbia?

Most of them are Serbs.

I think being a Serb is more religious then racial

Ok, a mongoloid bulgarian is a Serb,
then, according to you, since he's Orthodox Christian...
...a japanese also, since there are orthodox Christians among them...
...a Copt is Serbian also, and a Lebanese
(like their most famous singer, the orthodox Christian Fairuz)
is Serbian also, according to your statement.

You're confusing Race and Religion...not very smart...

any way u look at it, just as being a Jew is more religious then racial...

Jews care MUCH MORE about their Race than you do suppose...

We are all descendants of slavic tribes who came to the Balkans in the 5th and 6th century.

So you believe in this,
but you're not READY to understand
that montenegrins are SERBS....

And you can't compare Montenegro to Vojvodina or any of othose other places.  I don't remember there ever being a KING OF VOJVODINA.  Only Serbian and Montenegrin kings.

Since there were Serbian Kings OF SERBIA,
they were, de facto, de jure, Kings of Serbian Vojvodina, as well.

Vojvodina also doesn't have a culture different from the rest of Serbia, Montenegro does..

Waow....is montenegro
a kind of "RED CROATIA", then ?

just look at the family system!  That's not something new...  People from Serbia need to worry about 1. Serbia 2. Kosovo 3. Republika Srpska NOT Crna Gora!!!

Of course WE DO NOT CARE about mount negro,
since it vomitted on Serbia proper.

Anyways, i'm sick of defending Montenegro

Your conscience disturbs you ?
I'll NEVER be "sick" of defending Serbia.

considering i proudly sport the Serbian flag in my house

Waow, should we thank you ?

but i have to tell you,

How kind...

this kind of anti-Montenegrin sentiment is the reason they broke up to begin with.

Any "anti-montnegrin" feeling in me
BEGAN with their UGLY, UNFAMOUS SECESSION from Serbia.
It's like this for the VAST MAJORITY of Serbs,
not the contrary.

A lot of Serbs want Montenegrins to be equal to them

I don't: they're NOW much more
INFERIOR to ALBANAZIS themselves.

- as long as that means they are just Serbs and NOT Montenegrins..

NO SERB IS    " J U S T "    SERB.

That doesn't fly, because we are always going to preserve what makes us Montenegrin!

Will some shahovnica help you, in doing so ?...

Therefore, the minor difference between the Serbs and Montenegrins is not racial, its not religious,

Since they're all Serbs.

but cultural and political.

Serbian Vojvodina also,
has cultural/political differences with
Sumadija, or montenegro...

To deny our history as Montenegrins is............  not possible! (...)."

NOBODY denies this.
Neither will anybody deny some Vojvodinian history,
nor some Sumadian history...

It's ALL part of Serbian History/Heritage.

I'm not gonna bother trying to explain myself or Montenegrin history to you anymore.  No matter what I say, your gonna think i'm anti-Serb because i support Montenegro and fantasize conspiracies about Montenegro being pro-Muslim.  As far as I'm concerned Serbs like that are bottom of the barrel Serbs who are jelous of our history.

Last time i checked it was only Serbs in the Serbian/Montenegrin Orthidox Church.   When i say religious, that's what i was referring to.  During the Turkish occupation we faught to keep our religion, not our race.  And last time i checked Kosovo is Serbia and 90% Muslim.  So you really don't have to worry about Montenegro where Montenegrins and Serbians are a majority, worry about Serbia first.

And stop taking my words and twisting them around, and arguing for the sake of arguing.

PODGORICA, Montenegro's police said Saturday they have arrested 20 ethnic Albanians suspected of terrorism and organized crime.

The arrests in the villages of Tuzi and Malesije just south of capital Podgorica come a day before Sunday's first parliamentary elections since Montenegro gained independence from Serbia in a referendum in May.

Police did not say what actions the group allegedly planned, but said they "represented danger for the people of Montenegro."

The ethnic Albanian villages near the border with Albania are known smuggling routes for drug, arms and cigarette smuggling.

Police said they uncovered a large number of weapons in the "anti-terrorist action," including machine guns and "several thousand rounds of ammunition and explosives."

Published: May 15, 2007

PODGORICA, Montenegro: An ethnic Albanian on trial for alleged terrorism in Montenegro said Tuesday that the proceedings against him and 17 other suspects were a "staged political process."

Antun Sinistaj also accused the Montenegrin police of beating and harassing him during the arrest last September, on the eve of a parliamentary election in the tiny Balkan republic of 600,000 people.

The group was accused of planning terrorist attacks and an uprising to carve out an autonomous region in eastern Montenegro, populated mostly by ethnic Albanians. Three of the suspects remain at large and are being tried in absentia.

"I am innocent," Sinistaj told the judges. "This is a staged political process designed to curb demands for a better status of (ethnic) Albanians in Montenegro."

Among the suspects in court were three U.S. citizens of ethnic Albanian origin — cousins Kola and Rrok Dedvukaj, and Sokol Ivanaj. All have lived for decades in Michigan but were arrested while purportedly on vacation in their native Montenegro.

The U.S- based part of the group, according to the charges, funded and instructed their ethnic kin in Montenegro to "use explosives and weapons for terrorist acts aimed at controlling ... military posts, police precincts and other important facilities" in the ethnic Albanian-populated part of the country.

Sinistaj allegedly met with the U.S. Albanians prior to the arrests, and also was in contact with ethnic Albanian rebels from neighboring Kosovo, who had fought Serb forces in the province to win independence from Belgrade rule.

Sinistaj denied the allegations, claiming that a journal in which he reportedly described the meetings, was "fiction." Sinistaj said a statement given to police upon arrest, when he allegedly described attack plans, was the result of pressure.

"They stepped on me and beat me," he said. "One of the policemen stepped on my neck with his boots."

Police have denied torture allegations against the suspects and promised to investigate any misconduct.

If convicted, the accused face up to 15 years in jail each.

Sounds like we're really helping those Siptars  ;D

I'm not gonna keep repeating myself to you anymore, i'm starting to feel like a broken record.  Montenegro was indiependant long before it seperated from TITOSLAVIA recently.

Montenegrins who hate Serbia and Serbs who hate Montenegro all go in the same boat for me... delusional self-haters who talk and argue too [censored] much and wanna take over the world with a butter knife.  and have no concept of anything that goes on outside of their own skull.  no better then nazis and only hurting serbian people!  i'll pray for you.

I now many Monte Negro Serbs who like to be separated so they can do they personal inters to make rich and other ! For me if Serbia make real campan to Monte Negro not be Independent, we will be still United ! Serbia has week politician !They do not now what is national strategy ! Serbia do not do this :

1) In Serbia have 2.000.000 people from Montenegro ! So by blood line they can vote to be unaided ! But UNEDUCADED Serbs politicion forget this !
2) It have indication before referendum ANTISERBIAN make good strategy and pay 10.000 vote to be independent ! Why Serbia not do this !
3) There was never real support for pro Serbian party ! Difference is 10.000 but we lose every election last 15 years !
4) There was conspiracy for this !
