https://youtu.be/nh80TE2wF70Reuven's recent video claims "there is no Noahide community." Whoever knows Torah Law knows the terms B'nei Noah, Children of Noah, Gentiles and non-Jews are synonyms. There is no Torah Law difference between a Noahide and a Gentile (the Divine Code by Rabbi Weiner, 2nd edition, p 27; 3rd edition, p 24; 4th edition, p 24). There are far more Noahide communities in the world than Jewish communities.
He accuses Chabad shluchim of being "after people's money." Does Reuven think Gentiles need the permission of Chabad schluchim to establish communities, or his permission?
Reuven says "Hashem does not want the Noahides to have communities." Why, then, are Gentiles commanded to set up proper Gentile judges and Gentile law enforcement officers?
He always tells people "do whatever you can to be a Jew." This means he always tells Gentiles to give up their identity. Here is a smattering of Jewish Rabbis who oppose his approach:
"Someone who does not desire to accept Torah and mitzvot, should not be forced to" (Maimonides, Laws of Kings 8:10).
"One who does not want to convert is not obligated to accept upon himself the Torah and the 613 commandments" (the Divine Code by Rabbi Weiner, 2nd edition, p 64).
"In the same manner God also needs in His kingdom of humanity both Jews and non-Jews. Jew and non-Jew each has his own calling and his own law, and God’s sublime purpose will be attained only if each one, Jew and non-Jew, will gladly and faithfully carry out that calling and obey that law which God has set for him, and in so doing will make his own contribution to the common good as God expects him to do" (Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch).
"I think that everyone would agree that there is nothing wrong with feeling proud of who you are. There is nothing wrong with diversity. God created a magnificent world, a wondrous panorama of colors, forms and personalities. Today we recognize that this diversity is so essential to the nature of things that anyone who tries to struggle against it is fighting against the sustainability of life itself" (Rabbi Tzvi Freeman).
Reuven thinks "it is much easier to deal with the difficulties of being a Jew." This is a lie. Jewish obligations are more restrictive and numerous (the Divine Code by Rabbi Weiner, 2nd edition, p 26). More restrictive and numerous is the opposite of easier.
He says "there is no spiritual connection between one Noahide and another." Please let this arrogant statement sink in. No spiritual connection between a Gentile husband and a Gentile wife? Between a Gentile mother and a Gentile child?
Reuven states there is no permission "to make Noahides a priority over Jews." In other words, Jews are more important than the Gentiles he hates so much. If Noahides are not important to him, why does Reuven waste his time making a video slandering our communities?
Thankfully, Reuven does not have a say in the Noahide world. This is a theoretical video made by a theoretician in a theoretical way.
