GOP warns Obama not to use executive orders for tax hikes
Congress’s two top tax chairmen warned President Obama on Wednesday not to claim unilateral executive powers to raise taxes on his own, saying it violates the Constitution and ruins chances for a lasting deal. Rep. Paul Ryan, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, and Sen. Orrin G. Hatch, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, said they were troubled by White House’s announcement earlier this month that Mr. Obama is “very interested” in exploring what options he has to raise taxes without going through Congress. “This would be a mistake, both constitutionally and politically,” the two lawmakers said. |
Lucianne’s Comments:Really? They had better quit blowing off their mouths unless they are prepared to back it up. As has been shown by their past behavior, nothing at all has been done to stop Obama and his continued lawlessness. I wish I could believe this is anything but another one of their idle threats. |

Boehner and McConnell are two pathetic souls who don’t exude any leadership. Like amnesty, they will do nothing. Do give them any money.
Correction – don’t give the GOP any money.
