If you are a Democrat, Jew or non-Jew, and you aren’t utterly disappointed in the party’s almost universal failure to address American antisemitism masquerading as legitimate criticism of Israel, you’re either woefully ignorant or a member of a cult as delusional as that of the orange man. You’re in no place to judge his followers as delusional. You’re driving in the race right alongside them.
It is no longer woke to consider Jews anything but white oppressor colonizers. And anything done to us is warranted. Whole swaths of the right are actually listening to Candace Owens and others engage in straight up Holocaust denial and antisemitic conspiracy theories.
This society is sick with antisemitism, and the normalization of Jew hatred across the political spectrum invalidates any claim that it’s not a problem on your “side.”
But if you are a liberal, know that it is obvious that most of the Dems in Congress as well as in the White House have not treated a national explosion of antisemitism as anything resembling the level of concern that it would be if it were any other group. You cannot possibly make a counterargument to this and retain any shred of integrity.
Which means that it has become the norm among Democrat politicans to treat Jews as a special class that is uniquely devoid of all of the protections granted every single other minority. Which makes the Democrats a party that is drowning in antisemitism.
And for that alone, acting like Jews are crazy for deciding to vote Republican at any point up or down the ballot is just being willfully ignorant.
If Republicans are saying they will pass clear and doable legislation that will accurately and adequately address university antisemitism, for example, and Dems won’t even touch the subject at their conventions, what does that tell you?

A letter from “Artists4Ceasefire” has been released on their site today calling to strip Israel of arms so it won’t be able to defend itself.
Among the signatures are Cate Blanchett, Ariana Grande, Bradley Cooper, Ben Affleck, Dua Lipa, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Jennifer Lopez, Cat Stevens, Selena Gomez and more.
While I also desperately desire a ceasefire, this request for a ceasefire from these “artists” comes from a very one-sided position.
There is no mention of October 7th atrocities or placing any blame on Hamas. While the petition was posted today, there’s no mention of Hersh Goldberg-Polin or other American citizen hostages killed, which happened just days ago, mind you and the rhetoric is clearly designed to paint Israel as the sole aggressor. In fact, they don’t even specify that the hostages are Israeli, they just say “release of hostages” and I think we know why…
It’s insane to see them ignoring October 7th and at the same time calling to remove any ability of Israel to protect itself from another attack.
A line that says “We totally care about Palestinian AND Israeli lives” doesn’t change the fact that you spend paragraphs upon paragraphs describing conditions in Gaza, but not the horrors that the Israelis and the hostages have endured.
I don’t know, maybe it doesn’t matter where they’re coming from if our 101 hostages come home. But is a ceasefire call created when you don’t care about one side, really going to reach the compromise we want? Or is it just a performative act you should’ve thought longer about.”

Hundreds of Hollywood celebrities signed a petition calling U.S. to stop providing Israel with weapons. Intuitively, we all understand that military advice or analysis should probably NOT come from Hollywood actors. Someone playing a five-star general in a movie doesn’t make them an expert on war.
This petition is not only misguided—it’s dangerous. Let me explain why.
Recently, a group of high-level military experts visited Israel to assess its military operations. They concluded that Israel is fighting a just war against Hamas in full compliance with international law. They observed that Israel is taking extraordinary precautions to minimize civilian harm—even building roads to deliver aid during the conflict. No other military in history has made such an effort.
Furthermore, when Australia investigated the tragic incident in which World Central Kitchen workers were accidentally killed, they found that Israel conducts thorough and transparent investigations when such mistakes occur.
Recently – White House National Security Communications Advisor and retired Navy admiral John Kirby said, “The biggest obstacle to peace right now is Hamas,” the same group that executed six hostages just this past weekend.
The U.S. provides weapons to Israel because Israel is fighting a multi-front war against Iran’s jihadi proxy armies—Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and more. Among these weapons is the Iron Dome, a purely defensive technology that intercepts rockets in mid-air, saving countless lives. Yet, this is what these celebrities are trying to stop.
War is horrific. But what these Hollywood celebrities are really promoting, is Hamas’s dream of a defenseless Israel.
If these celebrities truly want to see an end to the devastation in Gaza, they need to put the pressure where it belongs—on Hamas, the group responsible for starting this war and destabilizing the entire region.
