Obama’s Global Warming Hysteria: “Climate change is a national security threat”
But Obama says Islam is a “Religion of Peace” and not a threat at all.
President Obama will use a commencement speech at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Wednesday to argue ever more forcefully that climate change is a threat to America’s national defense.
“Climate change will impact every country on the planet. No nation is immune,” Obama will say, according to advance excerpts of his speech released by the White House. “So I am here today to say that climate change constitutes a serious threat to global security, an immediate risk to our national security, and, make no mistake, it will impact how our military defends our country.”
It’s not a new argument for Obama. “The Pentagon says that climate change poses immediate risks to our national security,” he said in his State of the Union Address in January. “We should act like it.”
And in February, the White House released a national security strategy document that called climate change “an urgent and growing threat to our national security.”
