Trump, Netanyahu and Abbas to meet next month to discuss two-state final solution

A three-way meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and [PLO terrorist] chairman Mahmoud Abbas could take place within a month, Channel 20 reported on Thursday.

Diplomatic sources quoted in the report that the goal of the meeting will be “ending the deadlock” between the sides and “moving forward a process of accelerated political negotiations”.

Abbas has already announced that he will agree to start negotiations without preconditions and that he will agree to give up his demand to freeze construction in Judea and Samaria, according to the report.

The Channel 20 report follows a similar report from Channel 10 two weeks ago, which said that Trump wants to resume “peace” talks as soon as possible, and is interested in first “narrowing the gaps between the sides” [like the mass-murder of Jews?] before beginning talks on issues of substance.

Meanwhile, Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman (Yisrael Beytenu) said in an interview on Channel 2 on Thursday that Israel is closer than ever to an agreement with the PLO.

“Arab countries have realized that their problem is not Israel and that Israel can be a solution to the problem,” he said adding, “You ask if Netanyahu is making every effort [to achieve peace]? Yes, he does, I can testify that he is making a lot of efforts.”

Liberman further said that he is convinced that an agreement with the PA could pass the coalition and the Knesset.

“If someone brings forth an agreement that includes an arrangement with all the [so-called] moderate Arab states, including the opening of embassies, trade relations and direct flights, I assume that it will receive an overwhelming majority, both within the Knesset and within the public,” he said.
